Damn Trojan Horses

I have installed AVG (free edition.......i am cheap i know) and i still get trojan horses in my PC not that many and not that often but they are still a nuisance any suggestions on how to get rid of them (for free?)

any help is appreciated

Virus protection is the one thing you shouldn't skimp on. Buy a decent AV package. It's cheap in comparison to lost time/data/identity/testicle weevils.

I agree Goober however i forgot to mention that i am in the process of putting more memory into my PC and that is why i was looking for a way to get rid of these horses on line
