Good to see an outdoor game...........More of them should be played in the snow.

That was one dumb long game that had no tempo. Don't know how that will sell hockey to people that don't like it which was the purpose of the thing in the first place. Over 3 hours...two goals.....and lots of standing around for the rink to be scraped off or attended to.

Totally agree, Crosby didn't do much, this was another failed attempt to sell the game in the U.S., it failed miserably. If hockey crazed Canadians thought it was boring, imagine how long Americans tuned in for, waste of time.

I liked the outdoor atmosphere, but those damn delays were killer. And you guys are right with such a slow tempo game I don't know how the average American would take to the sport. No real hard hits or killer action.

Yeah, I was at the game! It was not exciting hockey but it was an experience. As a Leaf fan I am sort of used to not watching exciting hockey :( It felt like the old days when I was a kid playing hockey outdoors up north. I think the last time the NHL had an outdoor since 2003 I believe. More than 70,000 people in attendance (who froze their butts) In retrospect, I think it there is another game in the future outdoors I will watch it on TV sitting in front of the fireplace. But hey, we're Canadian!
