Criteria for "active member", "senior member", etc?

Just curious: what are all the various profile status levels in TERB, and what is the criteria for reaching each one? I noticed that my profile updated automatically from "new member" to "member" at a certain point. And certain providers/agencies are willing to waive extra steps of verification for "senior members" on TERB, so I'm mainly wondering what the criteria is to reach that level.

Hi, there are a few threads where people ask similar but the responses are often jokes or the comment that you can override by editing your profile.

It would be nice to know the actual criteria, but it seems to be a closely held state secret or IYKYK kind of thing.

Guessing several hundred posts or a certain number of points (the point basis/awarding system also might be a mystery).

I think the system could be improved and made more clear. I've been a "new member" for years, despite having posted a fair bit over that time. You should at least be able to go to "regular member" status just based on time or a few posts. After that, if they want to make it more involving to get to the next levels, fine. It just gives an inaccurate picture of members to keep the "new" designation for years like that. I tried asking for an explanation of how the system works, but got nothing.

14 posts in 8 years is not a lot. You may rethink your opinion.

I’ve just made “member” 😂 better than “new member” but damn, I been here lurking for years before I joined

I am now a new member...

You can customize it to anything you want if it bothers you that much
