I dont use outlook express, adn was wondering if there was another way to email people on that site using my hotmail address? Any help is appreciated!

I've not been to craiglist, but I also don't use outlook express either. What I do when I have to e-mail a person using outlook is, put your cursor over the e-mail address and copy by hand the e-mail address that is shown on the bottom left of my screen. Or if possible, cut and paste the e-mail address.

yeah, whenever you see an email address posted anywhere on the internet, you can just copy & paste the address into hotmail

yeah thats what i did but i didnt know if the email went through? i just figured i might have to sign up for a craigslist email or something.

I've done it with my yahoo account too.

As long as there is a return address, either the posters own address, or the clickable one with the craigslist advertisment number, you can copy and paste it into the To: field of your web based E-mail.

If it's one of those annoying "reply" links that tries to open your defauslt E-mail program, there is still a chance you can track down the address it goes to by right-clicking the link and looking in Properties. Sometimes it shows the destination E-mail address which you can write down and then type in manually.

I have used my email address (hotmail, yahoo and outlook) to email people on Craigslist.

If you are worried about them finding out something about you, set up another account that you use strictly for Craigslist and such.
