The study showed that the vaccine is working!
And it also showed that the vaccine did exactly what it was designed to do:
" Clearance of detectable SARS-CoV-2 protein correlated with production of IgG and IgA. "

At least you should read the article you posted??
He doesn't even realize it's a positive result. HAHAHAHAHA, you can't make this shit up!

Messenger RNA (mRNA) vaccines for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have been widely deployed in the US and are highly effective at inducing protection against infection and severe disease

Data have demonstrated the elicitation of binding and neutralization antibodies against the spike protein by the mRNA-1273 vaccine in humans, thereby inferring that spike protein was produced and induced an immune response

I did read it, like the part where spike protein was where spike protein wasn’t supposed to be.
Then you didn't understand it - there is no such thing where the spike protein is supposed to be.
Remember you get infected with Covid, the virus doesn't know where "it is supposed to be" and would go everywhere in your body, wrecking havoc. That's why we see cases of MIS-C in children.

So you get the spike protein introduced with instructions for your immune system to destroy it, it’s not supposed to leak into other parts of your body…but it does.

So now your immune system is going to attack spike protein no matter where it is.

Goodnight sweet vaxxed princes and princesses.
What exactly do you think this paper is saying and what consequences do you think it has?

I think Spike inserted his spike into Buffy, I'm sure of it!

I am more of a Willow person actually.
Willow the Vampire slayer's best friend is what they should have called it. Then again Alyson Hannigan was why I started to give HIMYM a chance about 3 seasons in, but I'll have to admit, NPH made me stay, no homo. [Well Yes Homo for NPH, but none for me thanks.

I think that sp free has clearly demonstrated that he has no idea what he is talking about - or is capable of understanding what he reads. Remember the infamous multiple studies statement based on a Facebook post from the early stages of the pandemic that lockdowns absolutely have been proven not to work (at least according to sp free's interpretation)

P.S. sp free I am still waiting for links to those multiple studies

My solution: - Everyone who doesn't get the vaccine gets a $5,000 surcharge on their OHIP contribution. You know, the one that's collected with your income tax each year.

Until you pay it, no licence renewals and no new car plates.
heres my spin.

people make choices in their lives. some drink, some do drugs, some smoke which all cause major health issues. should we surcharge them for making a bad choice? penalize people for their choices? all these choices are costly to the health care systems. I should get a tax credit then since I never use OHIP versus the addicts, fatties, smokers, alcoholics, etcs. I am punished by paying taxes for ohip because I live a healthy life as opposed for those who make poor choices.

I get the point of the shots, and for some it makes sense. the medically fragile, the elderly and those who feel safer and not worry about getting sick.

when we force people to do things against their will its a slippery slope towards loss of freedom and oppressions of other for "the greater good". we have seen many times and countries use this rational with horrible consequences.

will I take the shot? Im not sure. I dont get the flu shot ever. Im healthy. I would like to see some long term testing testing on the effects of this medication before I inject it in my body. if I was elderly, I would take it. for now, Ill sit on the side lines and watch and see how it effects others long term.

It’s perfectly safe. Your immune system attacking your own heart is a feature, not a bug!

"“It may simply be a coincidence that some people are developing myocarditis after vaccination,” said Dr. Celine Gounder, an infectious disease specialist at Bellevue Hospital Center in New York. “It’s more likely for something like that to happen by chance, because so many people are getting vaccinated right now.”

"...“Most cases appear to be mild, and follow-up of cases is ongoing,” the vaccine safety group said. The C.D.C. strongly recommends Covid vaccines for Americans ages 12 and older.

"...Experts emphasized that the potentially rare side effect of myocarditis paled in comparison to the potential risks of Covid, including the persistent syndrome called “long Covid.” Acute Covid itself can cause myocarditis.

As of May 13, the coronavirus has infected more than 3.9 million children and sent more than 16,000 to hospitals, more than are hospitalized for flu in an average year, according to data collected by the A.A.P. About 300 children have died of Covid-19 in the United States, making it one of the top 10 causes of death in children since the pandemic began.

“And that’s in the context of all the mitigation measures taken,” said Dr. Jeremy Faust, an emergency medicine physician at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.

In the general population, about 10 to 20 of every 100,000 people each year develop myocarditis, or an inflammation of the heart, experiencing symptoms ranging from fatigue and chest pain to arrhythmias and cardiac arrest. Many others likely have mild symptoms and are never diagnosed, according to researchers.
At the moment, the number of cases of myocarditis reported after vaccination does not appear to be greater than would normally be seen in young people, according to the C.D.C.

So speaking of fake news the source of this piece - Health Impact News is listed on the Columbia Journalism Review Index of fake-news, click bait, and hate sites and Dr. Charles Hoffe is facing censure and potential penalties from his professional governing body:

VANCOUVER - Doctors in British Columbia could face investigation or penalties from their regulatory body if they contradict public health orders or guidance about COVID-19, the College of Physicians and Surgeons of B.C. says.

Some doctors are spreading "misinformation that promotes anti-vaccine, anti-mask wearing, anti-physical distancing and anti-lockdown stances," the college said in a joint statement with the First Nations Health Authority.

There's also a concern that certain doctors are promoting COVID-19 treatments "not supported by widely accepted scientific evidence," it said.
Dr. Charles Hoffe of Lytton makes false and unproven claims while questioning the safety of COVID-19 vaccines.

So congratulations sp-free you have graduated from quoting Facebook posts to referencing fringe fake news sources and a doctor facing potential disciplinary action from his professional association for spreading falsehoods and making false and unproven claims.

Keep up the "good" work - your winning streak continues!!!

If you refuse vaccination and need covid related healthcare, then you're paying for it. The vaccine is free to you but not the medical costs if you refuse it.
That is a laughable position, esp considering the recovery rate from Covid

Ok assume we implement your rule as a law
I want to exclude every person in the province who smokes (cancer) or drinks (liver) from health care

Fuck why not exclude anyone who eats at McDonalds (heart attacks)

FAR more people die of heart issues, respiratory issues, and cancer, and FAR more second hand damage is done than anything Covid could possibly do

True fact smokers and overweight people tend to die easier of Covid as well, so implementing my changes makes Covid less scary
