An elderly failing cancer patient with heart diesease contracts COVID 19 and dies - cause of death COVID.

Can't have the logic both ways.

Logic? If he had heart disease (atherosclerosis), contracted covid and died because of the resulting respiratory problems (not because of a heart attack), he died of covid. If he had a heart attack then it was heart disease, not covid. That is not a case of having it both ways. That is a case of 2 very different things happening.

The ability to think logically and rationally can provide some very revealing conclusions. Unfortunately, not everybody seems capable of that.

Evidently, the lack of someone (OP) to have the simple ability to know where to place a post like this is consistent with their lack of ability to make a credible argument.

Yes. if someone died earlier than they otherwise would have because of covid then covid is the cause of death. It's just like that legal concept that if you shoot a person in the head as they are falling off a tall building then you are a murderer.
