This is likely posted in the wrong forum. Please forgive me, but I was uncertain as to where to post.

Has anyone used that discount motel service....Copy Craigs?

Any comments or reviews?

Tried them a while back for second time. I will agree it was a good deal the first time I tried them, but seems things have changed from before. IOM, I don't see a need to go thru a middleperson like CC, if you have access to internet. They just use priceline.com.

After I booked a hotel that I wanted at, just as I get to in the parking lot, I get message that the hotel is full and I was directed to another...one that wasn't even part of the options you originally get. Upon checking in, that is when I realized how this works. Could've just done this myself online, and I could've picked and booked exactly which hotel I wanted, without any hassle. Wasn't exactly any cheaper either.

I used copy craigs a few times and I really like its service. Whenever I receive the confirmation text from CC, I always call the hotel and re-confirm my reservation and everytime I call, my name is always in their system. I have no issues with CC and until I find something cheaper, CC will be my "go to" hotel contact.

On that note, cc's website could use a little more work, but once you get the hang of it, its quite simple. This is what you do..
1. Check out his site to see what hotel you want (area/star)
2. Give CC a call and ask for a quote
3. if you like the hotel and price, go to Cdn tire or Esso to purchase the 3V visa ( I personally think this is the hardest part, because they always have problems locating 3v in the machine)
4. Give CC a call back and provide your 3V visa number
5. Once the hotel is confirmed, a text with the hotel's address and confrimation number will be sent to your cell.
6. Thats it. all you have to do is show up!

The person who answers the phone "Lee" provides top notch customer service... I had a slight delay with one of my bookings but Lee kept me in the loop and made sure everything else went smoothly. Greatly appreciated!
