There is alot of copy and paste low content threads in the general forum. I see this as detrimental to the general forum, it acts as flame bait and clutters up the general forum.

I would like to request the following:

Make it new forum policy that for any new threads in which copy/paste is used, the OP must give a paragraph of something in the original post. That something must be written by the poster, and could be thoughts/analysis/breakdown/etc... Just something to show that the poster actually looked at the copy/paste content.

I have no fucking idea how to setup a poll, I spent 10 minutes looking around the screen for the poll button, so lets do this poll by Yay or Nay.

When I read this post, I was kind of wondering what you were on about.
Then I looked at a few more of today's threads and posts.

Now I get it and I think you may be on to something.

It would be really hard to moderate, but good idea.

I agree with this principle. I have noticed this for quite some time now and I run my mouse over the header and if it shows nothing or very little, I move on.

Hello bishop,

I think it would be easier on the rest of us who really are interested in hobbying, to get rid of the political bullshit section. This is supposed to be an escort review site, not a haven for a handful of various miscreants, overage and underage hippies, dross, jetsam and flotsam to voice heir horseshit and disrupt the rest of the members. Many of these fools post thousands of posts monthly. Should they not just go to political sites instead of this one?

It is a waste of bandwidth that could go to other uses.

As its a separate section, as is the lounge, all you have to do is either restrict yourself to the review forums, or read the headers, or ignore certain posters, or just not give a shit.

But some like to express other ideas, and the anonymity can result in abetted cross section of ideas. Sure there are trolls, but they exist everywhere. That's the price for a free and open Net.

I just choose to comment or not to as I please.

This whole idea of if you don;t like, it don't click on it misses the point.

Has anyone else noticed the decrease in the calibre or discussion, the class and intelligence of the members posting, and the general tenor of the conversations?

Like walking through a place like the Stouffville Sales Barn that are now nothing more than a low class Brampton flea market with a bunch of crazy hucksters trying to sell you copy and paste knockoffs every third booth.

Sometimes you still want to go because you like the local produce, some chance of an interesting item or antique or some good food. BUt it becomes so irritating with trying to ignore the hucksters peddling cheap white socks .. AND the low lifes who make it their life to hang out there.

Frankly, I'd think this would be a better place if about six identifiable members simply were told that their posts were no longer welcome. Funny think is that the most egregious of these with no life who post (and re-post) thousands of times a month... have NO relevance to the ESCORT review part of this forum. Never a review, and often proud declarations that they don't p4p etc.

If all you do is repost shit, or repeat Captain Obvious News to stimulate discussion, or play trivia games....IN COMBINATION WITH the fact that you DO NOT "hobby" or POST REVEWS... then just fuck off and instead of spending your time searching for "news" to educate us... find another forum to jerk yourself off in. Political, anti-feminism, PUA, Cartoon Captioning Clubs... whatever.... go where people who don't want to talk primarily about the sex industry and instead play trains or engage in another "Hobby".

Its very easy to ignore the politics section (well, apparently not for me...)

The real problem is the crap that gets posted in the lounge that should be posted only in politics.
Maybe we should just ban those who repeatedly post in the wrong forum so we can get back to discussing whether that MPA is going to marry me, whether rubbing hot sauce all over myself will cure baldness/ED and how to filter out asian BP ads.

Hear! Hear, Schlong, Hear! Hear! I agree with you 100%. This section has become a wasteland of bullshit.

I've been watching this forum, if anyone you should be one of the negative posters that should be banned. Even when you try to be funny you come across phoney.

I have to do a better job of just avoiding those posts.

The only problem with that is that for a certain member who constantly regurgitates articles from fringe news sites and blogs is that "thoughts/analysis/breakdown/etc ..." would be too much for his pea-sized brain to handle.

It's easy to skip threads that don't seem interesting, why get worked up about them? If you made a rule that threads need to pass a test to be posted that would be more offensive than dealing with a few cut and paste threads.

I think the difference between quality posts and a Copy/Paste posts are what they are intended to do. Is the posters intention to rake in those Post +1s or are they creating threads for actual discussion? When there's an imbalance of any of the two, people won't enjoy viewing the forum as much, ergo this post. Just an opinion.

Said the guy who has been a member for 4 years and posted 111 times. Quite the contributor there yourself!

I keep the politics stuff to the politics forum these days.

I also back up what I say with legit news sources, you may disagree with what I have to say but part of the reason I post here is because there are some things you don't talk about in polite society and because most of my friends share similar opinions, so its more interesting to have them challenged then just confirmed.

I also do add reviews occasionally, less in the last few months, but I came here for the reviews and info and now also enjoy talking to the sort of types I never run into in my circles.

Now, what have you added to this site?

Not the garbage and lies that you post, that's for sure.

There is a certain poster who I would guess thinks that all rape allegations and sexual harassment allegations is BS and so he copy and pastes all these articles/videos that support his point of view. On an escort review forum that is incredibly poor taste. There is an issue of safety for the SPs and MPAs, posts like that is detrimental to their safety. I am no white knight, but I am also no rapist and I have no tolerance for violence towards woman.

I will settle for a certain member to stop pasting mindless garbage about false rape and false sexual harrassment stuff.
