Convertibles

Fellow terbites:

There a number of convertibles out there in the market, for example:

1) BMW Z4
2) Maxda MX-5
3) Pontiac Solstice
4) Saturn Sky

Does anyone have any experience with any of these cars, especially the BMW, with respect to service (cost and frequency), reliability, etc?

Any advice is much appreciated.

All I can say about the BMW dealers in the past is that the service is very, very poor. I owned three BMW's in the past, all bought new from dealers. Once you leave the showroom floor, the service part of the dealership went out the door. I have never had a good experience with them ever, plus I might add that I am very easy to get along with and understand that things happen that are out of anyones control. But I no longer buy BMW's for that reason only and I did love the cars too.
