Once in a while an event occurs that requires a statement or an explanation from a government or big corporation. Normally we accept it as the truth, but sometimes it leaves us with more questions than answers. We start questioning the validity of an answer, especially if it contains many irregularities, anomalies, contradictions etc.
Some events occur out of sight and some unfold before our eyes.

Man on the moon... 1969-1972... 12 people supposedly were on the moon and then it just became too expensive to go again. No government or company was able to replicate such success in nearly 50 years.

9/11 - an event that defies laws of physics, nature, chemistry, logic. Multiple anomalies that are nearly impossible and all happened on the same day.

Malaysian Airlines MH370 and MH17. Both were a Boing 777-200ER. One's identification # was 9M-MRO and the other's 9M-MRD.
One vanishes over Pacific and the other one is shot down couple months later over Ukraine after veering off course by 500km and flying over war zone.

There are many other so called conspiracies.

Any thoughts?

A conspiracy theory is synonymous to bullshit because you can only have so many people involved in the crime before the info leaks out.

The more people you need for your theory, the less of a chance is there that it is an actual conspiracy.

For example: to rig the presidential election in multiple states, or to hide that the Earth is flat, you'd likely need thousands of people involved, or at least hundreds. People talk. That's why it's laughable.

Wait, two planes of the same type (probably same delivery batch) owned by the same company had similar identification numbers? Wow. Must be those lizard people.

Yes there are actual conspiracies going on but what separates the tinfoil crowd from the rest is that they start with assuming the conspiracy is real and then selectively look for things that might confirm their conclusion while ignoring everything else.

And yes, the more people required to be part of the conspiracy, the less likely it can be kept secret for any length of time.

Yes! You guys definitely know more than I do.
In 2001, after 9/11, US went to Afghanistan. Found out immediately there's fuck all to do there.
Next, it's Collin Powell, waving a probe in front of all the UN people, saying it's proof that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction being transported on trucks. Got green light.
Invaded Iraq, pumped a bunch of oil, killed over a million of population... men, women, kids in process... oh! Those dumb Iraqis must be so amused by now.
I've lost all faith in government truth and media after 9/11.
And yeah, I've studied physics, chemistry, aerodynamics for years only to be told that it doesn't apply on certain days.

Logic is also a good course to take

The election is a conspiracy some people refuse to believe in even though it's backed up by solid statitistical evidence. Also, this week Zuckerburg was linked to illegal possession of blood samples, which sound like the adrenochrome of QAnon. Despite the ridicule, QAnon has turned out to be consistently accurate for a conspiracy theory. "Conspiracy theory" is code for stuff the lefties don't want you to believe.

Yeah, I don't go for every single one.
I'm more of a guy who thinks that a building made of concrete and steel shouldn't just disintegrate because a plane flew into it.
And not just that! I believe that a paper passport can't survive a plane explosion.

Exactly in what context did you “study” these disciplines? The laws established by the natural sciences always apply: anyone who has told you otherwise has misled you.

I’m still confused as to why anyone gives credence to the 9/11 conspiracy theories: there are no scientific anomalies whatsoever exhibited by this event.
Fair question.
World trade towers were the only buildings in the history of mankind that disintegrated the way they did... as if nothing was supporting them... Fell at the speed of free fall. Building 1 and 2, even though planes hit them nearly 1 hour apart, they fell nearly at the same time. Building #7 felt something and came down the exact same way, just poof - dust

Did you read the linked article?

Obviously you’re a thinker, and there are some things that don’t seem right. Science is very complicated, and often defies common sense. Some conspiracy theories may hold some water, but as someone with an extensive scientific education, the ones related to science are simply examples of scientific literacy and common sense butting heads

Moon landing happened. While the premise of the Iraq war was disingenuous as you say, the buildings collapsed because planes flew into them. The earth is not flat. Covid-19 is a respiratory illness caused by a novel coronavirus. These are facts easily demonstrated to those with an appropriate level of scientific literacy. They are harder to demonstrate using common sense, but that doesn’t make them less true. We’re not all equally suited or educated to understand these events to the same degree.

All the best to you in your quest for knowledge.
It wasn't an article, but a hoax video.

Science doesn't defy common sense!!! It's quite opposite!

Some shits think they can defy physics, chemistry, gravity etc.

Most of you don't give a shit about what actually happened. There's an official version and it's enough.

Ok! A plane flew into a building. Fuel burned for a bit. Does that mean that every single steel beam that was holding those floors below melted???

Apperantly that's exactly what it meant because everything just collapsed.

Officials found a terrorist's passport below, in the streets. That's how they linked goat herders to hijackers. Planes blew up but paper passport didn't??

Same shit happened in Ukraine. Plane blew up, but new passports in ziploc bag landed safely onto some scumbag's hands.

And zero physical evidence.

BTW, 40 odd judges didn't think that ANY of the evidence, statistical or otherwise, was not on the brink of collapse let alone solid. Why have they lost all the cases and you are saying the evidence is solid?

that plane did not blow up. It was hit by shrapnel and then damage from that plus air coming into the cockpit torn it apart.

These people may have been alive until hit ground.

Dutch safety board concluded that it was downed by BUK missile.

Russians were super interested in muddying those waters as they were responsible for the crash and weapon itself, and all of it was in context of their mini invasion into Ukraine. They came up with a number of conspiracy theories to deflect and flood the zone with shit, as Steve Bannon said. One was an attempt to convolute it and entangle it with a previous unrelated crash.

Believing in any of those theories is, I am sorry to say, insanely stupid. Or, at best, absolutely uninformed.

Ok, Amigos. You can't go from point A to point B without a force of friction. Sounds like a joke, but it's not.

On that note, I wonder what people think or if anybody knows: are those believing in CS mostly generally unhappy and bitter? And what socioeconomic status they have? I met a few in real life. All were contractors. Maybe they thought life owed them more? I genuinely wonder.

That video... it was sent by a Russian company that built Buk rocket.
Didn't know that, did ya?
You know why they sent it???
Because it proves that a plane in question wasn't hit by a land to air missle.
Next time do your homework before trying to look like a knight.

Umm are you on crack? The video clearly says BUK was the culprit. If BUK company said that, the heads would roll, and not figuratively. Logic?
I am putting you on ignore. Consider getting help.
