Admit it, a certain over self medicated dem from Mass drove a car off a bridge and killed an innocent female passenger and tried to hide it. That is a long way from the position of the POTUS as regards minor collateral civilian (?) deaths in a theatre of war.

The American voters understand what's happened
in Iraq. This mid-term election is quite unique.

Most always these elections are about local issues.

This election was a referendum on the Bush Administration.
We, the voters, are laying the blame for this mess at
the steps of the White House.

I don't agree that the Iraq situaion has been properly handled. I am on record in many other posts stating that a far firmer and more decisive blow should have been dealt. It is indeed a shame that so many American, British and other coalition lives have been lost on the ground. Similar to your suggestion of Raptors at 2000 yds, we should have made far greater use of our superior technology and available suite of weapons than we did.
