Female condom
Female condoms. Didn’t know that existed.
Have you tried ? What do you think of female condoms?
If enough couples like them wouldn’t there be more supply available. Seems not a big seller compared to male condoms

Society still thinks that women should buy things labeled female and also condoms don’t say male in the label so it’s implied that men and women buy them. I think it plays into the psyche of men not wanting to be seen buying such a thing. Plus not knowing about them or how to use them and not being taught about them creates that insecurity of not knowing.
they aren’t marketed to women to make then aware. they are honestly so basic in packaging and are under aporeciated.

I did tried. Quickly;

+ Pros
- Cover the whole genital area so is more effective for HSV1 and 2 protection than the regular condom.
- Sensation is close to bare

Cons
-Destroy the mood cuz complex to put in (for the guy that goes soft during the condom operation and need to have it done with the mouth, can be an issue)
- the noise (slight plastic bag noise)
- availability/price
- you have to do it with someone you trust, so they actually tell you if it's misplaced and won't go bare anyways.

They are indeed marketingly boring but I still think the regular condom is safer? Statistically.

I also think the female condom got thrown in the medieval section of contraception along with the dental dam that is also hard to fine but yet so convenient, and even fun if they are flavored.

I've been using Okamoto 004's with one lady I see and we both can't tell that I'm wearing anything. The first time we used one, she actually checked to make sure I was wearing one.

I had a bad experience with Kimono's. I was using one with one lady I used to see and it broke. But wait, it gets better, it broke right when I came! I couldn't even tell until after I had pulled out. Thankfully, she was on birth control and we both got tested.

I later jokingly told her that the new advertising line should be, "So close to nothing, you won't feel it break!"
