OK - this is a thread kicked off by two separate "issues" I`m noticing on the board.

#1 - there seems to be an awful lot of negative comments if a reviewed provider carries even a little more "padding" than Kate Moss. I realize that this is a fantasy-based industry, and some people`s fantasies don`t run that way (although some clearly appeciate the BBW type). Still, I have to wonder how many patrons are packing a few pounds themselves - and is there a level of hypocrisy or at least a double-standard here? And if there isn`t a double standard how do providers deal with patrons packing a little more than they should?

#2 - Someone made a comment in this thread

that they had received less than stellar experiences in the past because of age differences. Is this often a problem? I would think that there is often at least a decade gap in age. Many early 20s providers seem to require that patrons be over 30 (and I assume this is to clearly distinguish between those men they would see during "business hours" and those that they would actually "date").

Now, I fully realize that people`s tastes vary, both patrons and providers, and the responses and views will vary widely from person to person - so I`m not asking how things should be, nor how they are across the board, as things obviously vary widely - but what are people`s experiences and opinions about how body types affect experiences (in both patrons and providers), and how age difference affect things?

And no - I`m not a 300lb, 65 year old, in case you got that impression :) I`m just insatiably curious about how people from both sides of the fence approach things.

no i`m not 300lbs either but
the double standard of them getting paid and us not getting paid, cancels out the double standard of some of the over weight/ugly/old people

Really? I think the reason is that young men are often immature and their immaturity is just not worth the hassle for most SPs.

I guess in theory it is supposed to - but given the above complaint, I guess it doesn't always - and there is the whole YMMV thing.

It isn't realistic to think that a provider is going to think that everyone who passes her threshold is going to be the greatest thing since sliced bread - but does anyone want to be "merely tolerated with gritted teeth" simply because they're a client, even if the provider is professional enough to never let a hint of it slip out?

I don't know - it is very likely that I have totally unrealistic views of this whole "hobby".

Actually, I'd be surprised if different providers didn't have different reasons. Both reasons are plausible, and probably are used by different people.

Yes, I pack a few extra pounds. I am also not trying to charge anyone $200-$300 per hour to have sex with me, or $20 every 4 minutes to have me dance for them.

No, I think that young people probably have no loyalty and just go for the sex. Older guys get all emotional and often end up as regulars (that's what SPs ultimately want). Plus, the older guy has a bigger pocketbook.
