Computer Question!

Alright I have windows XP and I am trying to make a video email and I keep having a message pop up saying that I need a driver for Indeo Codec...what the hell does that mean?

Also I searched everywhere possible for this and cannot find it anywhere. I read that New PC's that come pre installed with XP does not have this so does anybody KNOW where I can download it or what I can do???

You need to download and install the indeo coder-decoder (Codec).

The codec provides the compression algorithm that makes the file a much smaller size.

Since you are making the video, I suspect that the software that you are using has a setting to indicate what codec to use.

If you can find this, see if there is another codec you can use, that is already on your computer.

I was just having a problem because it is Win XP and for some reason they are not coming with the codec that I needed.
