I am having some health problems related to the digestive system. I'm starting to give up on the traditional medical profession helping me. Has anyobdy tried Colon Hydrotherapy or other alternative treatments?

Argued by who, other than politicians?papasmerf said:With what is argued to be the best health care in the world...you want to abandon medicine?
So many people tell us Americans that your health care system is better than ours . Check out the posts on it.Mikehorn said:Argued by who, other than politicians?
I'd argue here. CANADA DOES NOT HAVE THE BEST HEALTH CARE IN THE WORLD. From my experience, it can be very slow. I find that doctors have attitude and no compassion. And they can be extremelly ignorant now days. Maybe cause they know, there is a shortage of them.papasmerf said:With what is argued to be the best health care in the world...you want to abandon medicine?
If you could prove what you suggest then you could put a few in jail and clean up the profession.Fabulous said:I'd argue here. CANADA DOES NOT HAVE THE BEST HEALTH CARE IN THE WORLD. They are into making quick money, ie: natural birth vs C-section. Doctors don't wanna hang around at the hospital all weekend while you labour naturally. They'd rather schedule a Monday C-Section, at 2pm.
From what I recall a few years ago, a doctor got paid around $1500 for a natural birth vs around $6000 for a C-section.
I have a very difficult time believing that not one doctor did not tell you to stop eating any fat. When my father had his gall stones, it was the first thing he was told.Fabulous said:natural solutions. They'd just like to cut out my gallbladder. Claiming that's the only way to get rid of the pain/attacks.
Well that's not true and I found that out by reading the curezone. Stopping the attacks was just a matter of NOT EATING ANY FAT/CHOLESTEROL period. .
not sure what your problem is, but have you asked your Dr to send you for a colonoscopy?, if theres a problem with your lower bowel (colon)thats the first place to start (IMO)Homo Erectus said:I am having some health problems related to the digestive system. Or you want or need immediate relief as well as prep for colonoscopy.Compromised said:And as for colon cleansing, the only reason to do it is if you like to have someone shove something up your ass..
Unfortunatelly is not as simple as that, because it's possible that his problem is not in the colon. It could be upper digestive, even though symptoms are at the bottom.Want a healthy gut? Eat more fibre, drink more water, stay away from fat, and exercise.
I had the dreaded D and was sent for an ultrasound when it was discovered that I had gallstones. The doctor told me not too worry 3 out of 10 people have gallstones and if they don't cause me any pain I am ok to live with them. All he said was not to eat any FRIED FOODS. Fat is in so many more foods than just grease. It was a while before I started getting gallbladder attacks. I mostly had the D, and the surgeon who did the colonoscopy told me that gallstones don't cause diarrhea. So was diagnosed with IBS.Compromised said:I have a very difficult time believing that not one doctor did not tell you to stop eating any fat. I know that it's not a cure but it's something everybody should do when having digestive problems. And not just grease, but most commercial meat, butter, margarine, cheese, milk, eggs and in my case whole wheat fiber. Not eating ANY fat is not a cure, it simply minimizes the chances of the next attack happening. But to cut fat out completely is very very difficult.
Actually I may not have to go under the knife because I am planning on flushing them out and then continue on doing the liver flushes to try and completelly flush them all out. I am trying to naturally break up the stones by drinking lots of fresh apple juice and a quarter cup of radish juice per day. As well as some herbs called Chanca Piedra.Like it or not, you still need to either go under the knife, or have (in some cases) ultrasound to break up the stones.

This is absolutely true. My friend's wife had a C-section at Scarborough Grace Hospital but due to some complications she couldn't get the health card yet (approved, but not in posession yet) and she was given $6,000 bill for the C section and $2,000 for the 2 nights at the hospital. This happened in 2007.Fabulous said:From what I recall a few years ago, a doctor got paid around $1500 for a natural birth vs around $6000 for a C-section.
