Oh I think I know what you mean; re traditional medical profession. Been there done that and am quite disappointed as well.

I had to google all my symptoms and read alot about my digestive condition, sort of becoming my own doctor and treating myself with old fashioned/ancient medicine.

Here is a good website with support forums: http://curezone.com/forums/f.asp?f=100005

I also tried Chinese Herbs, which you can get from a Chinatown herbalist. I found that it helped and stabilized my stomach for a bit. Although it's the grossessed thing to drink. But it's the same price as anti-biotics, the doctors tend to try and treat you with first when they don't know for sure what i s wrong with you.

Anti-biotics will kill any good stomach flora you have left and eventually you become sicker if you don't know how to revive you organs.

I would suggest you catch up on some important reading on the curezone and start with cleansing your body. I recently did a couple of colon cleanses and a parasite cleanse. And am now getting ready for the Liver Flush.

Your liver runs things, so it's important to look into it's health as that is what most of your digestive problems will relate to.

I got diagnosed with gallstones and for the past few months experienced some horrendous pains (gallbladder attacks) which sometimes made me end up in the emergency. The doctors won't tell you any alternative or natural solutions. They'd just like to cut out my gallbladder. Claiming that's the only way to get rid of the pain/attacks.

Well that's not true and I found that out by reading the curezone. Stopping the attacks was just a matter of NOT EATING ANY FAT/CHOLESTEROL period. Also a glass of warm water with a teaspoon of epsom salts, relieves pain. Not one doctor advised me to do this. Why, because they won't make a dime from the epsom salt and if I and everybody else starts using epsom salts we won't need the doctors to write us up a dozen prescriptions.

So please visit curezone and see if you can diagnose yourself. If you need immediate relief with your colon, try the coffee enema. Oh it's wonderful.

With what is argued to be the best health care in the world...you want to abandon medicine?

So many people tell us Americans that your health care system is better than ours . Check out the posts on it.

I'd argue here. CANADA DOES NOT HAVE THE BEST HEALTH CARE IN THE WORLD. From my experience, it can be very slow. I find that doctors have attitude and no compassion. And they can be extremelly ignorant now days. Maybe cause they know, there is a shortage of them.

They are into making quick money, ie: natural birth vs C-section. Doctors don't wanna hang around at the hospital all weekend while you labour naturally. They'd rather schedule a Monday C-Section, at 2pm.

From what I recall a few years ago, a doctor got paid around $1500 for a natural birth vs around $6000 for a C-section.

If you could prove what you suggest then you could put a few in jail and clean up the profession.

I have a very difficult time believing that not one doctor did not tell you to stop eating any fat. When my father had his gall stones, it was the first thing he was told.

Not eating ANY fat is not a cure, it simply minimizes the chances of the next attack happening.

But to cut fat out completely is very very difficult.

Like it or not, you still need to either go under the knife, or have (in some cases) ultrasound to break up the stones.

And as for colon cleansing, the only reason to do it is if you like to have someone shove something up your ass.

Want a healthy gut? Eat more fibre, drink more water, stay away from fat, and exercise.

I'm into holistic heealth and I agree that colon cleansing is not the immediate way to go, especially if you haven't done ANY cleansing of the system. The steps Compromised said are the solution- if after if you've done that for a period of time and you still want to get the colonic then go for it. It's not bad as long as you don't do it often. (Like, twice a year is MORE than enough.)

not sure what your problem is, but have you asked your Dr to send you for a colonoscopy?, if theres a problem with your lower bowel (colon)thats the first place to start (IMO)

Or you want or need immediate relief as well as prep for colonoscopy.

Unfortunatelly is not as simple as that, because it's possible that his problem is not in the colon. It could be upper digestive, even though symptoms are at the bottom.

Additionally telling somebody to add more fiber to their diet is not always the best solution, because there are SOLUBLE and INSOLUBLE fibers.

If not diagnosed properly, eating the wrong kind of fiber can cause pain, bloating and gas in the colon or produce too much acid in the stomach.

Taking out fat out of your diet is easier said than done these days, but can be accomplished. ie: a chicken breast has more cholesterol than a lamb chop or duck breast.

Drinking more water is great too but it should not be tap water.

I had the dreaded D and was sent for an ultrasound when it was discovered that I had gallstones. The doctor told me not too worry 3 out of 10 people have gallstones and if they don't cause me any pain I am ok to live with them. All he said was not to eat any FRIED FOODS. Fat is in so many more foods than just grease. It was a while before I started getting gallbladder attacks. I mostly had the D, and the surgeon who did the colonoscopy told me that gallstones don't cause diarrhea. So was diagnosed with IBS.

Not eating ANY fat is not a cure, it simply minimizes the chances of the next attack happening. But to cut fat out completely is very very difficult.
I know that it's not a cure but it's something everybody should do when having digestive problems. And not just grease, but most commercial meat, butter, margarine, cheese, milk, eggs and in my case whole wheat fiber.
Like it or not, you still need to either go under the knife, or have (in some cases) ultrasound to break up the stones.
Actually I may not have to go under the knife because I am planning on flushing them out and then continue on doing the liver flushes to try and completelly flush them all out. I am trying to naturally break up the stones by drinking lots of fresh apple juice and a quarter cup of radish juice per day. As well as some herbs called Chanca Piedra.

The only way OHIP would pay for a gallstone break with ultrasound is if the patient is not a good candidate for surgery. So it's not often utilized. The preferential treatment by surgeos is to remove a very important organ from your body. Not something I am into, if I can let nature handle it.

With some preparation LIVER FLUSHING is as simple as drinking a half a cup of olive oil with fresh lemon or grapefruit juice.

I got my first colonic last year, and my life has changed. I always felt bloated and had a bulge in my belly that I couldn't get rid of. After the colonic, I did a parasite cleanse, combined with the occasional laxative tea, and now continue to do a cleanse using "CleanseSmart" every 6 months. The amount of stuff that comes out of your colon during a cleanse is mind boggling. The herbs loosen all the caked on crap on the inside of you colon and the extra fibre you take along with the increased water intake you have to do flushes it all out.

All of those overweight, grey looking people with gigantic distended bellies you see walking around would all benefit from cleaning the toxins and crap from inside their bodies.

I have a friend who had I.B.S. (irritable bowel syndrome) to the point where she was constantly constipated and took about $70 worth of herbal stuff & fibre each month to make herself go. It took 3 colonics to remove all the crap (literally) that went back to the beginning of the colon.
It was life changing for her and she's regular now without all the suppliments.

This is absolutely true. My friend's wife had a C-section at Scarborough Grace Hospital but due to some complications she couldn't get the health card yet (approved, but not in posession yet) and she was given $6,000 bill for the C section and $2,000 for the 2 nights at the hospital. This happened in 2007.

Totally agree with Fabulous re: the quality of the doctors here. By the way, the World Health Organisation appraised health care systems around the world based on 6 outcomes (not funding levels--the typical non-sensical way our stupid media use to measure quality care)....Canada ended up at NUMBER 30!!! France is number 1, Italy no. 2, Switzerland no. 5.

Check out this company for cleanses....I recommend that you commit to their 3 month cleanse. My health has been transformed; I sleep like a baby, my memories just totally back to where it was 10 years ago, even my balance, of all things, has been restored.

the company: www.DrNatura.com and the product is called Colonix. the best 200.00 I've spent in a long time. Without your health, money's meaningless. So do everything you can to keep it while you still have it.
