Since the majority of collisions happen at intersections, it's always a good idea to pay particular attention when driving through them. It's also a good idea to stand well back from the corner if you're waiting to cross or waiting for transit.

Many of these collisions could also have been prevented if drivers were paying more attention.

There is also that dangerous game that tailgaters play, practically forcing you into the intersection.
You off course need to stand our ground and get hit from behind.

So true. I see pedestrians and cyclists doing really dumb shit every day. It's amazing more of them aren't hit on a daily basis.
