CNN shatters zionist lies and propaganda:

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=KntmpoRXFX4

Zionists are using the old tactic of diverting away from their crimes and crying anti-semitism.

The only anti-semites are yourselves, and since arab muslims are semites, your accusation of anti-semitism is bogus.

The whole world is beginning to see the truth you cannot hide.

Arafat has always made that point... that it is impossible for him to be an "anti-semite" because he is one also.

Hamas was digging a tunnel under the Israeli border. The IDF went in to destroy the illegal tunnel, and when they did, Hamas attacked them.

Still sounds to me like Hamas broke the truce.

Lustology you should get your hate under control.

Rockets were fired at Israel many times during the so-called truce.

It's all besides the point, if Israel was looking for a reason to attack it could find one. Point is, after December 18 there WAS NO TRUCE. Israel was ramping up for an attack.

Oh, and the word "Semite" comes from one of Noah's sons, "Shem" (as opposed to Shemp, a different Jew entirely. Anti-Shempites are the worst sort of people)...

It's only "besides the point" now because it's been documented that Hamas did not break the truce, Israel did.

But, Israel has been lying. Any representative of the Israeli government has been deliberately spreading this lie.
And the Trained Seals for Israel have been in lock-step with the lies.

I watched that CNN report
Sounds like the Israelis did not want their soldiers kidnapped, so they killed 6 Kidnappers. (They have to have security for their people., Why is that so difficult to understand and work with)
Then the Hamas rockets started raining down on civilians
Thats not a clear cut indication of who started this mess.
Who started it is not really the important issue, rather how to stop it is

Lustology, its pretty clear you will search for any story that will help support your crusade of hatred to wards Israel.

At this point I almost pity you and think it must be awful to go through life with such blind hatred.

So if I don't care for the 3 stooges, am I an anti-Shempite?

You have been here long to know that all you have to do is PM one of the mods and provide the link to the offending post (s).

Duly noted.

Thank you for your intervention.

stories keep changing

First we were told it was Hamas that ended the 6 month ceasefire. Now there's this view that Israel rejected a continued ceasefire offer from Hamas.

Jan.9/09 IPS
Israel Rejected Hamas Ceasefire Offer in December
"Contrary to Israel's argument that it was forced to launch its air and ground offensive against Gaza in order to stop the firing of rockets into its territory, Hamas proposed in mid-December to return to the original Hamas-Israel ceasefire arrangement, according to a U.S.-based source who has been briefed on the proposal."

Bullshit. Digging a tunnel under the border violated the truce.

Heaven, definately Heaven
When RICK SANCHEZ of CNN is fact checking, then he thinks Cuba is a democracy. I mean, let's get real. I can even be a Bush Jr. devil's advocate during the economic summit in Peru, when Sanchez said no leaders would shake Bush Jr.'s hand at a photo op, treating him like a lonely boy at recess.

We all know now that was not true, but an exploitation of the video BY Rick Sanchez specifically.

RICK SANCHEZ is out for his own. He can't even get a ticket on EL AL. Hamas broke the cease fire and Sanchez doesn't know about it because he deletes that evidence before coming to conclusions. Maybe a missile should hit him square on the roof of his house, then he'll come back with other conclusions. Remember Rick Sanchez, the one who supported illegal aliens working in the USA. Now there's a recession and he backs off that too.

If only someone could keep Rick Sanchez off the air for good and take away his for profit health insurance, the insurance that checks his little Cuban scrotum, testicles and anus. He'd shut up fast.

Gyaos Baltar.

The US based source is from the Carter Centre, hardly reputable. They are supporters of Hamas and vehemently anti-Israel. I like how they also quote an official in the IDF confirming the tunnel was being built for defensive purposes. Of course there's no name, no date, who discussed it with them etc..And you say the major news sources have no journalistic integrity? These guys only do enough investigation to hear what they want to hear. Dangerous. They probably think Hugo Chavez is the best thing since sliced bread!

I'm sorry that you feel that those with different opinions to yourself are not reputable. However the Carter Center has had some reputable achievement in conflict mediations worldwide and I'll put their word over your own anytime. As per the Carter Center info, -the efforts to extend the 6 month ceasefire did hang on Hamas's demand to keep the crossings into Gaza open. Israel however proposed that only 15% of normal supplies could cross. This was unacceptable to Hamas.
http://www.cartercenter.org/news/editorials_speeches/gaza_010809.html
Oh and Carter did say Israel did launch an attack in Nov "to destroy a defensive tunnel being dug by Hamas inside the wall that encloses Gaza".

Carter is not a Hamas supporter that's ridiculous. I don't know how, though a tunnel under the Israeli/Gaza border can be called "defensive".

And what was Hamas using the tunnel for? Marijuana?

Gyaos.
Smuggling of supplies. Just as the Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit says --"The tunnels have always been there. We have been trying to control them. But the tunnels are there because the crossings are closed and there is a siege and there is starvation," he told Al-Arabiya television earlier this week. "Those who say they are being used to smuggle weapons and equipment are deluded. Weapons are coming through the sea."
http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5jeMcr1QMvXEzLBc2EgP0cQC8rpywD95IGAGO0

Remember, supplies from Israel for the last 6 months were cut to about 20% of normal. And normal was too low as it was.
