Yep the planet is being killed and we’re witnessing the effects of climate change with all of these extreme weather events the past decade (ex. sudden wind storm in the GTA last month). Totally agree with you OP that we should be spreading the word about climate change.

How do you propose we save this planet? More bike lanes?

How naive one has to be to believe the climate change BS?

We do not even know what food is best for us to eat, otherwise we wouldn't have so many obese people yet the same "scientists" know how to fix the planet?

I can’t agree more, humans are shitting where we eat and challenging others ( anyone but “me” ) to clean it up.

Stop procreation, fewer people means less pollution.

The science of climate change is junk. You cannot make any good conclusions or predictions based on the present scientific methodology of climate modelling.

Junk science will fuel a political and ideological agenda but does nothing to stop pollution.

Extremist would rather kill us all as opposed to talk ideas and compromise.

For every solution there are unforeseen consequences. Usually wasteful and economically disastrous, and sometimes just as polluting. (Nickel mining for batteries)

We can both use that picture to describe one another.

You, describing me for not "seeing" the obvious signs of Climate Change that's unfolding in front of us as we speak.

Me, describing you for not "seeing" the propaganda about the Climate Change.

But the elites and the politicians see this picture representing you and me and they are about to take our pants down and go to Greek Islands on us and they will even make us pay for it. ;)

As a Terbite I must share the responsibility of a citizen of Earth to share
the message of world's climate leader with everyone on Terb.

there is no climate crisis. for the past 50 years all doomsday predictions never happened. my favorite one is the Maldives a country with flat islands they were supposed to be flooded by rising sea levels in 2000 they are still there.

Environmental officials warned 30 years ago the Maldives could be completely covered by water due to global warming-induced sea level rise.

That didn’t happen. The Indian Ocean did not swallow the Maldives island chain as predicted by government officials in the 1980s.

In September 1988, the Agence France-Presse (AFP) reported a “gradual rise in average sea level is threatening to completely cover this Indian Ocean nation of 1196 small islands within the next 30 years,” based on predictions made by government officials.

Then-Environmental Affairs Director Hussein Shihab told AFP “an estimated rise of 20 to 30 centimetres in the next 20 to 40 years could be ‘catastrophic’ for most of the islands, which were no more than a metre above sea level.”

The article went on to suggest the Maldives, along with its 200,000 inhabitants, could “end” sooner than expected if drinking water supplies dry up by 1992 “as predicted.” Today, more than 417,000 people live in the Maldives.

Yeah but the extreme weather events which we are witnessing presently (recent wind storm in the GTA) doesn’t make you think “hmmm maybe climate change is an actual thing”?

No. Just like with food - we do know what is healthy. It just costs more, less convenient, and we don’t like the taste.

Same thing with the planet, we don’t do what we need to because it will cost to much, it will be less convenient and we don’t like change.

We know, we just choose to ignore it for our own selfish gains and it is the next generations that will pay for it
