In your naughty wet dreams
A client made an appointment with me for 7pm today. He called when he arrived. In mid sentence while talking to me he said he was at my particular hotel to see an escort. The person he had told was a woman. I told him I would not see him because he was not discreet with his speech. I try to be discreet and find it very ignorant to basically announce to passers by that he is there to see an escort... He kept pestering me for several minutes ladies please contact me via pm so that this person doesn't blow your cover

I strive for utmost discretion and when this happened I was shocked... I never answer my phone in public I never ask clients to call from the lobby it's just not discreet.. Sometimes I get ripped for my preference for txt messages but it's the most discreet way I believe

As a client, the last thing I want for the hotel or condo to know is i'm there to see an escort. Dont want cops or trouble. This guy must have been new or really dense.

This incident depresses me two fold.

One: that there are jokers like this on the planet.
Two: that I missed a chance to book with some one I really wanted to meet, who probably had a spot free thanks to a moron:frusty:

Oh Monique, another time then >sigh<

I agree with you but there is at least one agency that refuses to send text messages because it leaves a "paper trail". They prefer to only give the info real time verbally.

So, Monique, did this guy call you even though you have a stated preference for txt? What, he can't read? I personally also prefer txt over calling. Don't need to be calling saying "I'm here... What room are you in? Okay, be right up!". Sheesh, who knows who is listening. And I would rather see the room number in writing instead of hoping I heard the right number, then potentially knocking on the wrong door!

I wonder if he expected the concierge to respond with a gift basket of lube and condoms.

They would say, Which one, they are not stupid they know the game, but it fills rooms and if its a large hotel no big deal
hotels have camera on elevator an every floor, they can see traffic etc, some put the gals on certain floors loll

Although I prefer txts I will converse over the phone I understand some clients are more mature and never learned to txt or that some people wish to hear my voice first

Unless there are typos, texting is probably more efficient. Ever try talking on the phone in a noisy hotel lobby? Also, verbal instructions can sometime be misunderstood. For example, room 789 might sound like room 798.

Here's a different take on the subject. How about, as Sex Workers, we stop buying into the shame that society insists on imposing on us? I'm visiting Toronto. I got into the Adult Industry over 15 years ago and I am proud to work in this business. I tell everybody i work in this industry-my doctor-my lawyer-my bank manager-my neighbors - and, so far, they all respect my decision. And, if they dont its their problem, not mine. Even more reason to be upfront about it here in canada is that its 100 percent legal so why not tell the front desk youre here to see an escort. girl, if youre ashamed to be in this business, don't do it - simple as that. What's with asterwald saying he doesn't want trouble with the cops? what are they gonna charge you with? It's legal. I followed those court decisions and the lawyer who took the case all the way to the Supreme Court spent thousands of hours I'm sure fighting on behalf of Sex Workers so they wouldn't have to hide. So dont!!

And ask yourself why you are hiding and lying about your profession? You're a good person; you're honest and you provide a legal service that men want to pay for. The only reason you're ashamed is that you are buying into the shame that society heaps upon this profession. And the only reason society does that - think about it - is because it's sex! I refuse to allow myself to be shamed by these antiquated Victorian attitudes and I encourage other Sex Workers to do the same.
