I agree they will spend tons of money and time for nothing.Won’t go anywhere the gun was not unsafe and did not cause injury or death due to malfunction it’s designed to fire a projectile the user decides what the target is not the gun
No they do not any of that sort of tech is expensive and easily defeated AND end users are worried the tech may fail when/if the gun is neededWait, I don’t get this. Guns have some tech that can only allow the registers owner to use it? Like finger print scanner?

Yes, something like that, but it's expensive and US gun manufacturers are going to fight it tooth and nail. Also, wouldn't be effective without a complete prohibition on the manufacture and import of all other guns. Non conforming firearms already in the hands of the public would be a big, big problem...Wait, I don’t get this. Guns have some tech that can only allow the registers owner to use it?
