Catherine, sorry to hear it didn't work out with the SO but knowing you for as long as I have I know you have the strength to get past the hurt and enjoy life

What would be refreshing is clear communication about the "optimum" manner in which to reach an SP...or a caveat that one is available on very restricted terms.

As for 'phoenixd' comments about "more people on here (in a relationship with someone)" that's a tad presumptuous, don't you think?
Maybe its time for you to stop & think about what you want in your life/future If you want a serious relationship with someone and you can't tell them what you do for a living. Then quit the MPA/SP world. If someone made you that happy and you wanted them in your life. Isn't it worth doing what ever it takes to keep it that way.

It would be wonderful to find the love of your life and quit the industry!
HOWEVER, when you have kids and are use to being able to provide for them on a quite comfortable level; its very hard to let go of the financial status.
