A country's natural resources are its wealth, especially when you export a large number of them.
When you open up oil, natural gas, critical minerals, mining.......etc you pour hundreds of billions of dollars into the economy.
This economic stimulus benefits ALL Canadians, not just commodity traders. You also lower unemployment!
