Just a PSA for those thinking of getting these things without a dr, mine told me that it is VERY important that any medical professionals know you are on them if by chance you have a heart issue and get medical attention.

Something about how they interact with nitrous or something like that that they give you for heart attacks

Another reason it's a good idea to always use a Dr at least for the initial consult. And I guess we should let the women we see know we are on them just in case.

I wonder how many SPs have had someone die or nearly die during a session?

I was friends with a couple of sp's who killed customers in the act. Got a call from an sp who had been trying to call me all day, (we were friends at this point) a customer had died on her during the act and she had called the ambulance and fled. I put her and her friend up at my place for a week. Emptied out the apartment with another guy and a moving van.
Another one who I became friend zoned with. I called her up to take her out to lunch. She asked me to come up to "deal with a customer" Guy had turned greyish green and passed out with a bottle of "Punjabi Rye". I told her it didn't look good. We rolled him off the bed and onto the floor face down in case he did a Jimi Hendrix. Called an ambulance and they revived him and got a pulse. So no harm no foul. However, at the hospital he didn't make it . I rescued her in her negligee squatting down between two parked cars on the street. The guy's wife kept calling her to ask for an explanation. The wife was Punjabi and the girl was Chinese. So language barrier. I fielded the call and apologized and said I couldn't provide any information.
As for the Cialis question. not that great. But then again I am near the age of dying, so what do I know?

Wow, crazy. I am not surprised that it happens give the probable average age of the clientele and the excitement involved.

Crazy stories though!

I agree that you should not take ED pills without an evaluation from a doctor who knows your general health condition, and any specific contraindications, and can prescribe the best drug and dosage for you.

We all know that nitroglycerin is an absolute no-no with ED pills, and taking an ED pill with grapefruit juice is a bad idea as well. Same for grapefruit juice and Lipitor or other statin drugs.

I see no need to advise your provider that you're on an ED pill, unless you have experienced cardiac issues such as angina, or low blood pressure symptoms, on them in the past.

Mind you, the raging erection you already have as you come out of the shower into the room before you even touch her might be a tip-off...

The cost here versus overseas or even south of the border is ridiculous. Unfortunately, ordering from non Canadian pharmacies can be risky.

For those on low daily dose, does it matter much if you skip the odd day. Have a rx for 20mg and only use occasionally but thinking based on the Costco price posted above maybe 2.5 daily or 5mg every other day would be better

Go to their website and make an account, fill out the form answering all the questions .i was contacted by their doctor and that was pretty much it. Payment made with a credit card
Does this go into your health record? I assume they ask for the health card.

Why would you care?

If you're worried about your SO seeing the Rx listed on your regular pharmacy records, just fill the ED Rx at a different pharmacy chain or an independent pharmacy.

Btw ED pills purchased with a doctor's prescription are a tax deductible medical expense.

Thanks for letting me know about it being tax deductible. I didn’t know this.

Have a cousin who is an MD. Would not like her to see my prescription history hence the question.

What people are allowed to do, and what they actually do are not always the same. See the purpose of this forum lol
Fair point lol. But 1. Why would your cousin even want to see what prescriptions you are on 2. Why would she care if she finds you are on it? And 3. Doing so is not only unethical, but illegal and could be grounds for her losing her licence and therefore career / (and very lucrative) livelihood. I’m pretty certain she doesn’t want to know if you are on cialis that badly!

Furthermore, from what I know, your prescription records are only available to other doctors electronically if you have your meds covered by OHIP (eg under 25, over 65, ODSP etc). I’m pretty sure if you pay out of pocket or have it covered by insurance, the only people that will know are the prescribing doctor and the pharmacy.

If you really want no record of the visit, use out of pocket / self pay services like Felix/ Maple etc where you pay, and no health card info is required. If you don’t even want it on your pharmacy record, just get the prescription filled at a different pharmacy than you usually use.

This is somewhat dependent on what electronic medical record system your family doctor uses. It’s likely a yes, they can see your medical visit history with other doctors/clinics/hospitals. The benefit of virtual/online doctors is more about quickness of appointment - though I’ve seen some (unrelated to the thread topic) where the appointment would be a month away just like seeing my family doctor.

I was doing every 3rd day of 5mg and it was still fine for msog.

Either way with Cialis I've found it helps only if you're aroused

Most ED meds depend on some kind of mental arousal in order to kick in.

I doubt they would work with a provider twice your age and three times your weight, with an ugly punim...

Very true, although I find the next morning I always wake up with absolutely rock hard morning wood to the point it sometimes wakes me up early and I have to rub one out.
Agreed. For whatever physical reason, ED drugs do enhance the probability of "morning wood", whether rock hard or not, even when you're too old to experience that as a usual occurrence.
