I recently complained to my doctor about low sexual desire and he prescribed Cialis (Tadalafil) 20mg tablets. I got a little nervous after reveiwing the side effects listed in the drug's pamphlet. Has anyone used Cialis and what was it like?

I have used Viagara for a while and I like the fact that its a one shot deal.. My sexual encounters typically happen every couple of weeks or so, and its always a one shot on goal encounter.

I think Cialis is more for someone who has sex more often and I think you take it on a regular basis to maintain a level of the drug in your system so its there and ready as need arises.

So, for me that did not work... I tried the Cialis and it did not give me that hard wood that Viagara did, when I needed it... then a few hours later, I got a woodie and had no place to put it!

Anyhow, that's been my experience.. I'm switching back to Viagara.

Positive

I didn't think that was for low drive, but for a physical problem.

But I guess being disapointed enough times would trigger that.

Try it, your going to have great sex, then see how your libido is.

Cialis won't make you horny, which is why I'm surprised the doctor prescribed it to you. It's more for guys who are horny but can't stay erect.

If you want to get horny, then stop masturbating/all sexual activity for 10 days. If that doesn't work, then maybe get your testosterone checked.

Lose some weight, eat healthy, exercise and that should increase your libido. I have tried generic Cialis before (Apcalis) just to see what it would do. It worked when I took it but got the feeling it reduced the strength of my erection when I stopped taking it so haven't used anything since.

They both work fine for me. I used cialis if I have overnight ones and V for one shot deals. The only side effects i got from them is having a feeling of blood running through my head and junior. They both are ineffective if you have too much drinks or if you are under lots of stress. If the lady is hot and if we have chemistry, I don't need any pills.

Because of a life long disability I was born with (no amount of proper eating or exercise could solve my problems) I have had some experience with both of these pills in the last couple of years. Cialis I loved only because of the long lasting time it was effective but the symptoms were just not very nice, heartburn, headaches and even a runny nose which made me switch to Viagra. I have stuck with this one for the past year or so and loved it, there is the occasional headache but nothing that cant be overcome, not to sidetrack this discussion and have guys start recommending all sorts of weird internet pills and potions but on a recent trip to Amsterdam, having run out of my Viagra pills I made a stop at sex shop and bought the following, I was skeptical but it actually worked very well and no side effects at all.

Much more effective drug than Viagra. Can last up to 36 hrs Cut the 20 mg in half to start. Also drink POM pomegrante drink which helps also. Only side effect I've experienced is slight flushing in cheeks. Good luck!

Usual side effects of Cialis on me:
often slight flushing of face, ears.
often mild headache, but worth it
sometimes mild nasal congestion
often moderate "heartburn" for up to 3 days, especially at night - for me the most unpleasant side effect
sometimes interferes with my ability to achieve hj or bj orgasm, but fs orgasm is no problem

I prefer Cialis to Viagra, mostly for the much longer period of effectiveness with Cialis. Viagra is sometimes more effective for the first 4 hours, but not a significant difference.

Maybe the doctor made a mistake when prescribing the drug. I don't have a problem with performance (getting an erection, etc...). I simply have lost the desire for sex

Have your doctor send you for a testosterone level test. It's a simple blood test.

Low testosterone can definitely affect your sex drive.

If it is low, the doctor can prescribe some medication that should get you back to normal.

Just occurred to me that, even though you're on this board, maybe you are in a monogamous sexual relationship. Could be you're just bored.

I've always found that a little "strange' does wonders for my libido!
