If you want to surf the dark web, you will need to use BitTorrent, do not quote me, but I think this browser will not allow your ISP to see where you have been.
I think you meant to say Tor Browser (which, by the way, is based on Firefox).

Thanks guys. I did some research about BRAVE and everything is positive.

I think the best recommendation is that Brendan Eich is the founder and CEO. (It's a shame what happened to him at Firefox.)

Firefox.
Don't trust Brave - seems a lot of hype for something to lure people in.

Firefox is the most efficient, but lately it pauses when doing business. So I started using Chrome for non-leisure.

Any rational reason not to trust Brave?
What is wrong with the hype or lure?
Just that you've never heard of it before and its relatively new?
The same was true with Firefox and Chrome at one point.
I'm genuinely curious, because I occasionally use both. Brave does have some advantages as I mentioned in a previous post.

And Firefox is also known to have some issues.

I used firefox for years but often had trouble with updates so switched to chrome. I hate it though. I think I will try Brave.

All anyone needs to know about BRAVE is that Brendan Eich is the founder and CEO. That is good enough for me.

The internet has a long history of bullshit hype machines and privacy as a buzzword just means someone is going to market the fuck out of that so you need to be careful.
The moment something gets pitched as great because of "one internet genius" I get suspicious. The cult of the fake Tony Stark types has a really bad track record in the real world, so when something is being sold on that myth I keep a healthy suspicion. It may turn out to be fine and just someone knowing the Silicon Valley press loves that shit and so using some savvy marketing for a good cause.

But when you see reactions like this:
All anyone needs to know about BRAVE is that Brendan Eich is the founder and CEO. That is good enough for me.
That makes me think "fuck no that isn't "all anyone needs to know" and if that is your pitch I assume there is some shady bullshit happening".
(It would be like saying "Elon Musk is behind it" and thinking that didn't make it suspicious as all hell.)

The built in ad-blocking tech is nice, but nothing revolutionary there.
The "we strip out other people's ads and put in our own" is kinda sketchy.
The "it is all paid by an internal cyber-currency" sounds really dubious but hey, maybe they can make it work.

So I'll keep an eye on it and see how it shakes out over time.
