I've been seeing a particular MPA for almost a year now. All of our sessions have been a lot of fun. I plan on seeing her again sometime next week and thought it would be a nice gesture to get her a little something for Christmas, you know, just to show my appreciation for the great sessions we've had. Some of the ideas I've come up with so far are:

- lingerie (although I'm not too sure what size she is and I feel like an idiot in the lingerie stores)
- wine (not sure if she drinks though)
- chocolate
- perfume
- flowers

We have great conversations during the sessions but we never did get around to her likes/dislikes. Any suggestions guys and gals?

There's nothing wrong with Lingerie or a stylish sweater or top. If she has a website, most of the information you need for sizing should be there.........ie: 5-7", 34b-24-36, 121 lbs (you may have to add on about 10 lbs since many may distort the weight thing).

Hey, I'm not cheap or anything but I don't understand this "buying a gift for sp or mpa". If you visit a certain mpa or sp repeatedly, isn't that good enough? Just a thought.

Gift cards are wonderful. That way the lady can select her own size/style.
That's lame! It's just like giving cash. If you have to give her something go with a personalized gift that shows you put some thought into it. Don't buy a gift that she can take back for a refund.

Philly Joe's are the way to go, but in all earnestness DVD box sets are all the rage.

They get enough of my money throughout the year. I don't even give gifts to my family or friends. Sorry, Bah Humbug!

Spode ...

It's like sloppy joe's, but with quail drum sticks.

TV box sets are very intimate.

PS Hopefully cycle 2, the only good cycle, of America's Next Top Model comes out soon. April was hot but too uptight. Mercedes should have won.

I'm actually stunned at a few comments- first of all i would like to say Merry Christmas to everyone!!! Christmas for some is a difficult time, hence our lovely buh humbugs and grinches etc... and others find it a wonderful opportunity to give.

While others enjoy recieving- i don't think a satisfactory justification not to GIVE is because of a persons STAUS, business orientation OR dollar amount they make.

I believe, which is my humbled opinion- as a giver... that theres a mutual pleasure of that, of the reciever and the giver. A feeling... which is priceless.

Unfortunetly, i would have to say that Christmas is a very overly marketed festivity and perhaps too much emphasis goes into the dollar amount- rather then the thought.

So, TONY-my suggestion to you, as a female and SP- that she would absolutely appreciate something (obviously nothing overly expensive) which is thought entailed... perhaps theres a few things you've picked up on in your discussions.

I know for myself and perhaps others- a gift certificate to somewhere ie.the body shop, a lingerie store... music store etc *you get the idea* so she can pick something out.

Or, if that is the case- incorportate *time permiting* your time together.... so you both can go (obviously thats situational and may not be possible) you would be involved and sorta gets two birds with one stone. You obviously enjoy her company, and also showing her how much you appreciate her. ( THIS IDEA WOULD BE OUT OF THE QUESTION IF SHE IS A MPA, however may work for an SP- Like i said, situational)

However I know for myself, sometimes people don't always take the time to pamper themselves and that would give them a perfect opportunity to, plus it would show your thoughtfulness and appreciation at the same time.

You have to keep in mind, we are- just like anyone else... human.

I am really surprised at this thread. tony has been seeing this MPA for a year and probably has spent thousands ! of dollars on her already. Why spend another 50 or 100 dollars on a gift certificate, which is really just the equivalent of giving extra cash.

Here are some ideas:
- download itunes songs and mix a CD that you would think she likes
- give her a framed picture of some cool photography you took (if you are into photography)
- a handmade craft

If she snickers at the gift then in her eyes you are just a walking ATM. If she genuinely enjoys it (you can usually tell) then she is a keeper.

Some of the nicest gifts I received this Christmas were simply cards that said thank you. And a pretty ornament for my Christmas tree. Wine is always nice too. Keep it simple. It is a gift of appreciation. Make it thoughtful. Oh ya! The smallest of gifts that are wrapped pretty says a lot also. Taking the time to wrap your gift is just a special as the gift itself.

If it is worth giving it is worth wrapping.

It's the thought that counts.
Alright Im thinking, Im thinking. Im thinking. There ya go, hope it fits!

LOL im kidding and to each their own but it all depends on the "relationship" the two people have with each other. There is no right or wrong way to go about this, its just what the individual feels like doing and how the receiver accepts it. It could freak her out that its getting too personal or she may understand it as a nice gesture. No reason to get all goofy on either side as its all up to the individual. Geez I buy my mailman something and he gets paid too but i appreciate the work he does. Same thing. Although i like the service of the SP/MPA/Dancer much better. Ive never bought them anything though for the record.
