After finally meeting a milestone at work, I was looking forward to rewarding myself Friday afternoon with a session with Cindy. She's been my regular for a while, though infrequently. Sessions with her were quite rigidly scripted, a routine featuring elements that might have been mildly uncomfortable for a guy not entirely confident about his heterosexuality. And there was a towering language barrier. But still, I felt like we had developed a bit of a rapport.
On Friday, feeling pleased with myself and very ready for action, I found her number disconnected. And no new ad on backpages in weeks. Such disappointment!
