As usual you only care about the topic if it gives you and excuse to froth at the mouth about Israel.
You claimed you care about the people of Gaza while you defended Israel's shooting of protesters in Gaza for the Great March of Return.
Don't blame me for just replying to your posts.

Are you incapable of contributing to a thread without trying to pretend it's all about Israel?

And considering you have repeatedly claimed that settlers shouldn't be considered civilians because a few of they are violent, it's pretty funny to see you complaining when Israel shoots people directly engaged in violence.

China has no valid point on the Falklands because the people in the Falkland's have made their voices heard. Similarly the people in Gaza and the rest of Palestinians have made their voice clear that they don't want to be Israeli no matter how much you tell them they should listen to you.

If that is your position, the islands in the South China sea are populated by Chinese people, who I am sure want to belong to China.

The Falklands are a symbol of colonialism, which should be denounced.

So is Canada. Yet here you are.

And yes, if people on those Islands want to be part of China then they should be accommodated. That said, China isn't exactly known for listening to people's democratic opinions.

Like Palestinians and Palestinian refugees?
You mean the people you want to force to be Israelis against their will? Only one of us supports Palestinian self determination alongside Israeli self determination (You just like the views like Hamas' who think it as their right to ethnically cleans Jews.

And I see your only interest in a thread about the Falklands is your obsession with Jews.

Actually PRC does listen to their people but only selectively.
And it is better that way or they would have taken out Taiwan
and Hong Kong in accord with the uninformed opinion of their
people.

Damn. In most people's reality, sanchez and Dan are the ones who brought up the topic and that topic is the ONLY reason you even commented in this thread.

The Falklands is a reminder of the land grab of the Rio Del La Plata during the Napoleonic Wars.

The British made landfall easily enough and declared victory. The proto-Argies countered with a vicious guerilla war forcing the Redcoats into a fighting retreat. Nobody told the Argies that they were Allies.
The Argies were still loyal Spanish subjects and GB and Spain were at war, at least for another year or so. (Then they became Allies). And the Argies declared war on Spain themselves 5 years later. And the Brits pretty much ran Argentina's economy for most of the 19th Century because the Argies wanted to trade and most of the world's ships flew the Union Jack.

But yes. Argentina was GB's only major failure at stealing colonies from other European countries.
