That's no way to treat a human. I hope they find the guilty party and lock them up and throw away the key. But this is Canada, so.....
She died sometime last summer or fall, nobody (neighbours, friends, ...etc)noticed that she was missing?
Fkn heartbreaking - what has to be the state of mind of those who did this besides being obviously fcked up. My god this is so sad.
They make up an excuse. "Oh they went to live with a cousin" or grandparents. Nobody is the wiser.

I'm guessing foul play. When a child dies of natural causes, people don't usually hide the body for a year or more then toss it in a dumpster.
My guess. The kid was confined to a home and probably never seen the light of day and abused and staved to death.
I wouldn't rule out the possibility of accidental death.
Castle Frank is not far from Sherbourne (E.I. student randomly shot and killed). I was in that area last Fall and actually asked two ladies for directions and they each pulled out their cellphone to look up my intended destination. .
