I so cant agree with hooters, my friend says the wings are good but... I think the scenery makes the food taste better... cuz the food was crap when I was there.
1. Joe's Filling Station, $5/lb wings on monday and wednesday something like that I forget(the price is why they are the best)
2. The Wing Shack in Whitby, Anderson and Dundas(HWY2) is the closest intersection (the waitresses during the day are the nicest, go in for lunch during the week sometime)
3. Melanie Pringles... the only places I have found yet, that will ACTUALLY PROPERLY customize my wings, nobody seems to be willing to grill wings anywhere for some reason?!? I dont get it. This place has the benefit of having a very intimate atmosphere if you aren't afraid to talk to the waitresses. (hooters with less cleavage and bum lines and actually decent food)

Everybody loves chicken wings. And if you choose the right night, everyone can afford them.
Since wings can be found on pretty much any menu in Durham Region, read on for the five best places to go, when to go, and why...
Jack's Fillin' Station -- There's a reason why they've won the title Best Wings in Durham, seven years in a row, in the United Way's wing tasting event. Jacks' wings are huge and saucy and they're only $5.50 a pound with any beverage on Monday and Wednesday nights. Can't decide between honey garlic and hot? No worries. Churchill's Fish and Chips -- I don't know about the fish but the wings are delish! They're meaty, tasty and cheap. Grab a friend and head down any night of the week for two pounds and a pitcher for only $21.95. 250 Taunton Street East, Oshawa, 905-404-9353.
Tap and Tankard -- This quaint, Scottish pub in downtown Whitby is the absolute cheapest place for wings. For $3 a pound every night until 7 and all night when the Leafs are playing, who cares what they taste like. (Don't worry. They're actually pretty good.) 224 Brock Street, Whitby, 905-666-8090.
Hare and the Hound -- These wings are superb. And when they ask you if you'd like them dusted, say, "yes!" They're big, flavourful and $4.95 a pound when the Leafs play. At least there's one good thing about being a Leafs fan. 15 Simcoe Street North, Oshawa, 905-576-0139.
Shagwells on the Ridge -- Think you're brave? Well let's see how brave you are! DC and UOIT's very own sports lounge atop the Campuses Ice Centre advertises their Braveheart Wings as the hottest wings in town. To prove it, Shagwells will waive the fee to anyone who can clean their plate. Shagwells' thirty flavours of wings range from classics like honey garlic, mild, medium and hot to wild, new concoctions like jalapeno cheddar, barbecue ranch and spicy sweet and sour. Drop by Shagwells during any Leafs game and enjoy a pint and a pound for $9.99. 2200 Simcoe Street North, Oshawa.

Ottawa?? where is that?? oh right...that is where a good chunk of my pay check keeps going to.
The Leafs seem to be the common thread here, but hey, I prefer my wings while watching NASCAR or a football game but that is just me.
I love Hooters breaded wings, but they are not the typical buffalo style wing. I think Jack's would be the best in Oshawa hands down, but I keep trying others. Mickey Finn's in Oshawa used to have huge meaty ones that I really liked, but alas, they are gone now, so it is Jack's, the Bulldog, or maybe the Stone's Throw here in Bowmanville. (that is the new pub on 57 that was referred to earlier). That said, I keep trying to find new places....I just would love to pay about 10 bucks and be allowed to eat til I burst....with a good selection of cold draft beer to pick from. THAT would be the ideal situation..
