I got a Canadian $5.00 from 1954 and 25 cents Canadian 1923 which back then was in a small bill. Didn't know that a single penny would have such a huge value!

Ancient coins are actually not that uncommon - needless to say they have a historical connection - but as works of art, to my mind a lot of 17th century coins are more attractive.

As to the cent, 1936-1937 the old dies of George V were of course obsolete but then Edward VIII abdicated and the new dies were unusable so. . .

And what of bank notes? I've researched that US Bank Notes from the lat 19th early 20th century are somewhat valuable let alone anything from the times of confederacy.
Is that fair to say as well?
