This. A civilian date is more about getting to know another person and enjoying their company for a few hours, and if the chemistry is right that can lead to some more physical fun. If you want something transactional where you have a guaranteed sexual experience for however many dollars you can afford, then just go see an escort.
I’ll also add that I’ve found that a bit of an adrenaline rush is also an aphrodisiac. (For some, not all). Sharing a thrill with some (mild) danger or adventure or just some physical exertion, like rock climbing, skiing or hiking, gets the blood flowing and often lets inhibitions down. I love eating a great meal with a beautiful companion, sharing a few glasses of wine, but there are alternatives that are a little less stuffy, and more relaxed and really fun. Of course you have to choose your date well. These dates won’t be often be well received by the girls who spend hours applying layers of makeup and doing their hair and wear long nail extensions etc…$15 appetizers. Maybe if you didn’t take her to Montana's the first date, more than a hj might be forthcoming.

If the girl is active, or outdoorsy there are a lot of options. A nice hike at a beautiful quiet park / conservation area, go to the beach in the summer. Up the romance a bit with preparing a picnic/ snacks, maybe a bottle of wine. If she is more a gym type and/ or adventurous try indoor rock climbing or indoor skydiving etc…. Of course these type of options all require the right person, and the girl who is more high maintenance appearance wise, probably won’t be into these kind of dates. Tho it will filter out the types who measure the quality of the date by the impact it has on your wallet.

Well based on the economy since Covid especially a lot of people are in that situation due to high rent, struggling finding work or high mortgages along with other expenses like food being high in price. A lot of couples are also living together with their parent/in law because of the situation and making it work. People are doing what they gotta do to survive along with having perhaps more than one roommate so they generally can't host either.
