I just wanted to help out the community and lend some ideas on how to spend less on a Saturday night gathering...whether it's being alone or with others:

1. Walk up and down Yonge Street from Bloor to Dundas / Yonge and Dundas to Spadina/Dundas / Queen and University to Queen and Dufferin (Queen west stroll). There are multiple marijuana dispensaries and LCBO's on these routes to refill on whatever your heart desires.

2. Going for a cruise on highway 401 west / driving up the 400 north while listening to Q107 classic rock tunes.

3. Hosting a Leafs game night and having your guest(s) bring drinks (beer, wine, soda, liquor) / food (chicken wings, pizza, sliders, ribs, etc..you get the idea). You will just need to turn on the TV to the Leafs game...easy!

4. Go to an SC that doesn't have a cover charge and order 1 drink that will last you the entire night. Preferably water or soda as it's healthier than having an alcohol-based beverage.

5. Drive out or take transit to the airport area to watch incoming planes. Great way to also make short videos to post on FB/IG.

6. Volunteer at charitable organisations to not only be social but to help make a positive difference!

You must be single with no kids or else your Saturdays would be pre-scheduled and pre-planned for you.

Now that there are nights that are cooler and often drizzly or worse, hit an old fashioned bricks and mortar library and grab some books to read, for the alone or quiet with a partner nights.

Then talk about the books and swap with your partner what you are reading. Gives you a connection without screen time in there at all.

Stay home with some beverages and snacks and watch the Ohio State vs Penn State game. Probably more entertaining than any Leaf game.

1) Sit on a park bench and feed pigeons , to change things up on a Saturday night I like breastfeeding them .

2) Make hats out of tinfoil and hand them out to people so aliens won't be able to read our thoughts.

3) loiter in a 24 hour doughnut shop

4) Inspect public bathrooms so you can tell your friends about the cleanest ones in the area when they gotta go .

5) Huff solvent out of a paper bag and make new like minded friends at almost any Toronto area park that has been taken over with tents.

The SC employees would just love that

Plant some trees, plant more trees. Oh, and did I mention planting trees?👏👍...

If you're a fight fan, Abu Dhabi are hosting a UFC event today and fights are ON right now. Pretty stacked card.

48 bottles of Laker is $ 69.00 at the beer store.. I think this was $ 66.00 not too long ago but hard to find anything cheaper in Ontario.
Sometimes I get DAB at Metro for an inexpensive import.
Also, Grolsch is on sale at the beer store currently.

Cheers!

I have one of these 1.5 liter Grolsch bottles, (the porn star of beer bottles), found in the recycling of a bar on Yonge Street a few years ago, and a 3 liter Bacardi rum bottle that I bought from a street person for a dollar - the beer store would only have given him 20 cents for it.

6. Ride up and down the Yonge and Bloor line preferably after downing 40 of Jack
