Cheap blu ray dvd's

well, the true definition of a dvd is a digital video disc so a blu ray is still a digital video disc in blu laser readable format.
They are more commonly referred to as a Blu Ray disc though.
For the time being however there is no such thing as a cheap Blu Ray disc. You can shop around online for various sales like INETVIDEO and other stores like Walmart, Zellers etc but the cheapest I've ever seen them is $9.99 per disc. I go to Blockbuster all the time for used ones. I just picked up Marley and Me for $6.99 with a coupon. I bought into their rewards club and they have things like $3.00 off coupons, buy one get one for half price, etc.
The one near me has racks and racks of used Blu Ray Discs yet won't discount them to move them off the shelves. They are still asking $19.99 for a used Inglorious Basterds disc even though Inet (and others) were selling it for that when it first came out.
I'd pop over to www.redflagdeals.com. They have all the skinny on where to buy cheap discs, amongst other things.....

Indeed, the definition of dvd is digital video disc or digital versatile disc and it is an optical disc storage medium. A red laser is used to read the discs.
Blu-ray disc (known also as BR, BD, or simply Blu-ray) is also an optical disc storage medium, but uses a blue-violet laser to read the media.
Therefore, it would be correct to call them both optical discs but it's a misnomer to refer to a Blu-ray disc as a dvd.
For the record, Compact Discs (CDs) are also an optical disc storage medium. You wouldn't call a Blu-ray disc a Blu-ray CD, would you?

Yeah, RFD has saved me THOUSANDS of dollars over the years.....you may not always see what you want to purchase immediately, but eventually it will turn up.
