For ING that is true. You know that PC is really CIBC in disguise and you can use any CIBC bank machine right? They magically become PCF machines when you insert your card.

Yeah, I know you can use PCF cards inside CIBC machines. There seems to be fewer CIBC machines / branches, though. Then again, I'm with TD and they seem to have machines pretty much everywhere.

ING is owned by Scotiabank. do they not have agreement yet to use the Scotiabank ATM's?

That's a really good question. If they do allow ING cards at ScotiaBank, will that be the end of high interest to pay for the ABM's?

I am so fed up with TD bank or Canada Trust or whatever they wish to call themselves now.
They nickel and dime me for every friggin thing, to allow me the honour of letting them hold my money.
I hate having to keep a ridiculous minimum balance to avoid monthly fees. I hate their ATM chargers. I hate seeing three tellers working when there's 8 countets and a lineup.
I hate their "custody" charge at TD Waterhouse if my trading account is not active.
How many billions they make last year?

Me too! But.....they're conservative and highly profitable.

Perhaps buying their shares is one way to balance things out, unless of course you get better terms or treatment from a competing bank.
