This law may be constitutional, but in my opinion, it shouldn't be. Cenk identifies as an American citizen, swears allegiance to it and immigrated when he was a child. He should qualify to run for Presidency.
That particular constitutional requirement is one I think absolutely should be revisited.
Keep a citizenship and a residency requirement and you're fine, I think.

The US politcal system is totally screwed up right now.

  • Just 4% of U.S. adults say the political system is working extremely or very well;
  • Positive views of many governmental and political institutions are at historic lows.
  • A growing share of the public dislikes both political parties. Nearly three-in-ten (28%) express unfavorable views of both parties, the highest share in three decades of polling. And a comparable share of adults (25%) do not feel well-represented by either party.
  • Majorities back age and term limits and eliminating the Electoral College.

He should qualify to run for Presidency. This law should be changed. Cenk is also 100% right about Israel, Palestine from the few interviews of his that I have seen.
I would agree with you. Someone who is born in another country but raised in the United States is for all intensive purposes an American. Thus they should qualify for the Presidency.

Uygur solicits donations for his "presidential run", despite being constitutionally disqualified from being elected president. The grifts get more blatant all the time, folks!!

I bet you he'll pocket most of whatever his donors will raise for him...if he even has donors....TYT channel had decent $$$ coming in though....on a side note....Ana reminds me of an MP I used to frequent at HFH...

Which is no excuse for the grifting charade that he is currently embarked upon.
