cellphone question??

Over the last couple of days, I left 3 or 4 messages for a friend at his cell #. No reply. The mystery was somewhat solved last nite when a 3rd party informed me that my friend was travelling overseas. I assume his cell was probably left at home.

My question is this: Will my friend pick up my messages when he returns. Or will I need to phone him afresh upon his return and give him all the same information a second time????

I think it depends on his phone plan, my cell phone has voice mail lite (whatever its called) through Bell Mobility, messages are auto deleted after 5 days .

this is correct. my phone plan / provider retains messages for 100 days before forcing me to do something with them. never deleted but the box can become full.
