What are the "best" smart phone alternative plans?

Don't need much: 200-300 cell minutes and 3-4 GB data is plenty...

I own my iPhone 6s.

they're all the same Perry, If you can find a good plan with Rogers, good chance Telus or Bell can match them.

Public Mobile (Telus) is cheapest + good network (unlike Freedom / Wind)

If you willing to jump through some hoops Koodo has some great deals (not legit but if you work for it best price in Canada)

I recently signed up for a great plan through my employer. They have an employee plan with Rogers that’s saving me a bundle.

Public Mobile - a Telus owned value brand, uses the joint Telus-Bell infrastructure. Seriously a great deal and more reliable than Freedom Mobile.

I am with Zoomer wireless. Owned by and runs on the Rogers network

$36 per month
Unlimited texts
400 minutes talk with unlimted Evenings and Weekends:
3GB data (after 6 months, loyalty plan went up to 4GB)

Might need to phone them to get the same deal, not always listed online

I suppose it depends on how you use your phone. I use koodo. Unlimited minutes, unlimited text, 2gb data and 3 cents per minute US long distance. 62 per month.

I also have Zoomer and have been with them for 2 plus years. I pay $45/month for the same plan with 6 gb data. Customer service is great and have experienced no problems with connectivity. Use the phone across the GTA.

Received a "free" phone for a two year plan (I forget the model - LG something) so I flipped it on Kijiji for $200.

Now on a month to month option.

City Phone and Zoomer are the same company.

I saw someone with Wind, cheap, but limited coverage, so be careful.
I’m happy wih Koodo. Unlimited phone, voicemail etc., 6 gigs for 65.00
In most places, the 4G LTE is super fast, runs on Bell’s network. I own my iPhone.
I dont need that much data, I’m gonna reduce it.

Freedom mobile, hands down. I have been dealing with them for close to 8 years and I don't have a single complaint. Great plans that do not break the bank.

I just switched to Fido a couple of months ago. So far, so good. Pretty much the same plan that I had with Rogers but $30/mnth less.

None of their reported shortcomings affect the way I use my smartphone... probably because, often, I don't know what-the-fuck is going on! All I know is if I touch certain buttons, magic happens!
