PM me I will tell you the lawyer who will get you off scot free. He is a bit expensive but well worth it.

P.S to all those who see this as a serious crime. Money talks so live with it. Everybody has a price for that million dollar man.
You are an example of what is wrong with the roads.

I can only hope it will not take someone close to you getting killed before you can adjust your perspective.

not serious? consider auto theft. usually when it results in death it is directly from the act of speeding and not from the act of stealing.

When you use the services of say Points or ex-coppers, they say we win or it's free. If they reduce your charge/fine at all thats considered a win to them. Win doesn't mean total case dismissal to them. You can probably get the same results yourself.

I have to ask WTF were you doing going 72 over the limit anyways? No one is in THAT much of a rush to get somewhere.

I think he was late for his booking with you if I remember.

I know, I'm stupid, I got caught last night at 121km/h in a 50km/h zone... I need stories of you or your friends getting off tickets, what was the speed, how did you get off?
if you've used pointts, x-copper, how do they swing it? I got an ulcer the size of Texas forming here, so any insights would be helpful
My tip is that you need to switch to a slower car. A 50 - 54HP non-turbo Diesel VW Golf/Rabbit from the 1980s to early 1990s should do nicely.

An automatic 88-100HP Saturn S-series sedan/coupe/wagon from the 1990s or any non-16V automatic Ford Escort would also do nicely.

I agree with most of the other posters. Going 10-20km over the speed limit is one thing but going 71km over the speed limit (which is 2.5x the speed limit) is dangerous. I'm also surprised you didn't get charged with dangerous driving.

A few days ago some idiot almost hit me in an intersection. It was my green, but he insisted on bustling his ass through a red light (and it was not like it just turned red on him, it had been red for at least 10 seconds). Luckily nothing happend, I hit the breaks hard, which felt like I was going to fly through the window, and I almost had a heart attack.

I can understand doing 10-20 km above the speed limit given very little traffic, but 70 km above the limit is an accident waiting to happen. Buddy, you are not that important.

How is it people can think they are soooo bloody important that the laws +10% do not apply to them?

reminds me. Was walking with the GF, crossing avenue road one time. She was deaf in her left ear. Walking just a step ahead of me, she didn't see or hear the vette speeding along in the curb lane. She stepped off the sidewalk right into its path. Caught me completely off guard because I saw and heard the car. He was doing about 100 clicks. Reflex action, my arm snaked out and jerked her backward. The car zoomed by. She burst into tears on the spot. That's why I remember it.

You can kill someone dumbass, driving like that in a residential zone. Shame on you.
