Hopefully with my face in a pussy
Ours just jumped up in front of me for a face nuzzle, purred loudly, gave me lots of kitty love, then turned, sniffed my Scotch, and sneezed in it.

Furry lovable bastards. Anyone else have a love/hate relationship with them?

GTA & Thereabouts...
Was always a 'dog person' until we rescued a throw-away kitten. The stupid thing has been a great addition to our lives.

Yeah. Love the little furballs too. I can't imagine living without two to four of the little angels/devils in the house. They are extremely entertaining.

We have three, a pair of orange tabby brothers from a shelter and a black feral who adopted us after I did the TNR-routine on him. They entertain, they comfort and they teach me something almost every day. I wouldn't be without them.

I have a cat and he's always been just there. No acknowledgement from him until he's hungry.

Then you have those times when he does "handwriting" aka wipes his ads on the floor. Not to mention that his litter box is like a nuclear waste dump.

But he rubs himself on me so that makes up for everything... ? Then there's the laser pointer routine, which is countless hours of free entertainment.

I play soccer with my cat using ping pong balls. He has good reaction times.

I have a gray tabby that I got from a shelter. She is curled up beside me purring as I write this. I like having her around the house. She eats, she sleeps, she plays with her toys and she sits with me and purrs. Every house should have one.

A friend asked me to take her cat because she was pregnant, but the fucker use to bite my toes while I was sleeping so I gave him away. He was cute, but I couldn't sleep in peace.

I have a couple of cats and a dog. Could not imagine life without them.

I love animals more than I like people. No 4 legged animal has ever tried to fuck me around or hurt me. I can't say the same about 2 legged animals.

I have had cats most of my life.

I had to put my last one down about 1.5 years ago now. Hurt me so much to do it that I haven't gone to the shelter to adopt a new one. Think about it every day though.

2 of my cats were diabetics. Had to give then insulin shots twice a day. No problem though. They championed through it. I find them fascinating as animals. Was a dog person growing up but my first wife convinced me on getting a cat when I was 19 and after that I was all in.

Took in 2 strays over the years too. I would have to say the strays were the best of all the animals I have had over the years. One cost me over 1k to to fix up. He was on deaths door when he literally came to my back door. The vet figured he had maybe a week left in him. He turned out to be the best I ever lived with. He used to meet me at the door as soon as I came home and would guard me wherever I was in the house. Perhaps the best thing about him was that he loved women so much. Every girlfriend always raved how cool and affectionate he was. You could hear him purring from the next room. He just loved going to the cottage and even the long car rides. Sadly I had to put him down after he had a stroke but he lived quite the life.

How do cats become diabetic?

Great job they look great

Every year, billions of tons of garbage end up in the ocean and landfills.

To reduce these numbers and breathe new life into reusable waste, a hard-working man from Brazil, Amarildo Silva Filho, 23, has developed a simple yet valuable hobby for sustainability.
Silva works as a cashier by day and is a craftsman by night.
Two years ago, Amarildo was looking for a way to make extra income using the trash that people throw in the streets. He then remembered that old tires were being used as a refuge by the dogs that live in the streets, so he thought it would be nice if he could bring them the feeling of a home.

He started collecting discarded tires and used them to make eco-friendly and comfortable beds for animals. In this way, he earned extra dollars while contributed to the well-being of the environment.
After successfully turning one of the tires he found into a bed, he made it his mission to make more—and has since handcrafted 6,000 beds.
He gathers every tire he can find in the landfills and streets, and his family helps him. He has also received tires as donations or bought them in bulk.

But you can't fuck 4-legged animals. That's the only downside I see.

You know that's a good question.

I can assure you that both were fed up to the highest standards and never give any ''treats''. One was slightly overweight but not for a lack of trying on my part. It's not like you can take a cat to the park and run the hell out of him, lol.

Only reason I knew for the first one is that I noticed his water consumption and peeing volume increase. So a red flag went up for me and I immediately got him to the vet. Years later I saw the same signs with the other one and knew the outcome before I made the appointment. Insulin shots are best taken with meals so you have plan it twice per day. Also You have to monitor their blood glucose level every few months as well. Which means buying a monitor and doing blood evaluations every 2 hours for half a day or so. It's a commitment but I figured I owed to them to give them the best life possible.

I looked it up, its similar to us: high carb low protein food, lack of exercise, obesity...I had to give shots to my dog years ago ..I hated it..it was a blood thinner or something. Then he ended up having hip displasia and we had to put him down. :-(
