I believe Trumputin respects Carney. He's heard of Carney within his past circles and respects Carney's accomplishments. He had no respect for Justin, probably because he knew Melania and Ivanka wanted to maul Justin and was badmouthed by Justin with Macron. He has no love for Pee Pee. Pee Pee, for some reason, was getting under Trump's skin even though the right wing podcasters were pushing Pee Pee. This surprised me if I'm going to be honest.
We are, in some ways, the smaller problem for him. For all the rhetoric he knows they need us.

I think threats about energy surcharges were made. I think that's what that Ford/Carney meeting was about. And there was probably a quiet one with the Quebec Premier.

That tamped things down. But in the end Trump is still chaos. So buckle up. The shipping of goods from China is about to drop by 35%. Store shelves will have maybe 7-8 weeks after with pre tariff buys and stock ups. Layoffs are happening. Debts are about to be called in.

Second quarter will clearly show a recession. Then the stock crash will happen.

LOL gullible is voting for the same party that stole from and lied to you for a decade.
OK, I'll ask. What was stolen from you? What were you lied to about?

And, if that is your criteria....did you vote conservative in the provincial election? I bet ya did.You wanna talk about scandalous behaviour? Look at the Treme/Ontario Place deal. Even the NYT recently covered it, and it shines an unflattering light on Ford and his government...giving away a nearly 100-year lease to a private company without any track record??? Or, the whole Green Belt scandal, where developers who donated to the Ford government were able to buy parcels of land on the cheap....and were about to be given the go-ahead to develop them. Interestingly how many of them attended Ford's daughter's wedding....

I think once Mark Carney goes down and sees Trump, at the first sign when he brings up Canada should be the 51 state or refers to the prime minister as governor, Carney and his entourage should get up walk out of the office and take the plane home. And then let’s see how he can explain that to the public. I would think his orange face would go a few shades darker. It seems everybody forgets how to respond to a bully you isolate him don’t talk to him don’t pray to him he doesn’t exist. And soon it will dawn on him if not the American people get rid of him.

Maybe its better to just ignore him and let him get distracted by the other daily scandals.
He's already pretty much given up on tariffs and now seems more interested in figuring out how to expel all his enemies from the country.

If you think Donald Trump would have an easier time controlling Mark Carney, whose track record includes governing the Bank of Canada and Bank of England and who is considered by many to be the Number 1 economist in the world, instead of Pierre Poilievre, who is a career politician whose last civilian job was literally as a paperboy, you're even stupider than I've been giving you credit for.
Carney's resume means nothing in terms of dealing with Trump. Only stupid people believe it makes a difference.

So far 700+ GM employees in Oshawa will be losing their jobs...do you think Carney's resume can help them keep their elbows up?

It's not a positive outlook. US economy shrank 0.3% first three months, BEFORE tariffs kicked in. We are now 2/3 through the 2nd quarter. You think it's looking good?

Cripes I'm getting emails from all the casinos in Vegas, some I haven't stayed at in years. They be hurting. A tiny slice indicator of what's coming.

I read last week that casino profits are down 5%, hotel occupancy down to 82% and visitor numbers down 300K per month since January. It`s the economy stupid and the world is moving away from the States. This week will really start to hurt Americans. The winds of shit are blowing.

Vegas and Florida are suffering tourism-wise because it's not just the Canadians staying away, it's Europeans as well and I love it. I have a feeling Trumputin will back off tariffs after meeting up with Carney, at least the ones attached to Canada. Now, don't hold me to it because Trump is an idiot and unpredictable. The fucker loves the chaos he's creating but I'm sure he's hearing it from everyone and everywhere behind closed doors.

Florida has the larger real estate problem. 11 months inventory and getting worse. It's the first wave if what will happen in many places. Mortgage protections are ending I think July, same with Student loan protections. The banks will not be kind.

When all this and a 2nd quarter reported downtown all hit in julyish come September the stock market is going to get bad, maybe pushed to October. Then this, empty shelves, mass debt recalls, foreclosures, will really cause a mess.

We are a small problem, China is his big one.

Everything you are claiming can easily become reality if the clown running the circus doesn't back down on Tariffs.

Trump is eager to make a deal with Carney. He hopes that a deal with Canada will push other countries facing his July tariffs to back down. But there’s no real proof that the U.S. is being cheated or that it’s paying to support Canada or any other country. China won’t even respond to Trump’s demands or talk about them. Carney should wait and work together with China, Mexico and other countries hurt by Trump’s tariffs. Congress is starting to challenge Trump’s power over immigration and trade. On top of that, he’s losing support and trust from the American people.

Sickening sycophants, it's disgusting, especially coming from the head of the DOJ.
Pam Bondi's salary is approximately $235,100. It’s likely that she is motivated not just by the pay, but by the prestige of serving as Attorney General, enjoying VIP treatment, armed security, and the potential for high-profile positions after her term at the Department of Justice. She may be miscalculating, instead of gaining lasting influence, she risks being seen as a Trump stooge placed in the role to whore as a political tool, which could limit her appeal to major law firms and corporate opportunities in the future.

The finance ministers of Japan, China and South Korea have had talks on how to deal with Trumps Tariffs. The Japanese Finance minister has called Trump's tariffs an extortion.

Cripes he is going on about the 51st state and we are robbing the US again. And he is now putting 100% tariffs on foreign made movies(although how you tariffs an intellectual property is beyond me).

Good luck on Tuesday to Carney. This is not going to be resolved thus year I think.
