Well, personally, I like to know that the lady "knows" she is not getting away with her bullshit. I realize that the girls in Ottawa are not going to improve. But, there is still some satisfaction in exposing them.
Good idea. We put them on a list and then notify them of the situation -- you ONLY get off the list if some good reviews are posted.
Perhaps I am alone here but I have found that by far and large the Hobbyists on this board go out of their way to be fair. It seems for an sp to get a bad review, boy, things must have been bad!! True, everything is subjective regarding services so the value in a board such as this is to identify patterns, whether the reviews are good or bad. So, perhaps the sp hits the black list only after there have been a certain number of bad reviews suggesting a pattern. Arissa, mentioned above, would fit; I saw her and she was terrible. Many others saw her and not one positive review. She would be on the list and notified. There are many others in Ottawa. Of course, the Hobbyist must post, which is a problem here. But in time, I think such a system would produce favourable results for the Hobbyist and the good sp. Let's face it, a good sp here sticks out like a sore thumb!
What of the SPs who prefer not to get reviewed? Personally, I've nothing against reviews if they are written in reasonably good taste, but prefer not to have explicit details of my appointments being bandied about in cyberspace.FalconHawk said:

Gentlemen, please remember, if you are not happy with an SP, you are under no obligation to proceed with the appointment - if you opt to proceed, then chalk your disappointment down to experience and don't book her again! Surely, it's as simple as that.

No, Astra, it is not as simple as that. Your comment, in theory, is not all that offensive, but in practice, it is just not on. Many Hobbyists do not have the balls to turn and walk away. In most cases it is not 'till after you have paid that you find out how bad the sp is and she will NEVER refund you at that point. Sorry, a bad sp is a bad sp. Your theoretical comments run tired on me at this point, and I dare say others are with me. The hole point is we are trying to avoid the situation of spending $$$$$$$$$ for lessons we can avoid if there was a simple mechanism put in place. In any event it does not matter what you want -- these are review boards put in place for the Hobbyist.

I'm sure that a number of hobbyists will agree, in principle, with a bad SP list, though, my point remains, exactly how would you go about defining what does or does not constitute a bad SP? Human nature being what it is, poor service for one could very well be thought of as reasonable or good service by another.

Guys... come on now! No slapping.. 
When I stated about a 'list' , I meant a real SP list with all SPs in our area.
Doesn't matter if they have a bad rep or not. Simply by checking the norm on services (fs, bj, attitude etc., not BBBJ) we could come up with a point value.
