Hi, just wanted to ask the board if anyone knows of a good, yet reasonably inexpensive (if that's possible) place(s) to find some new Rims. I have an older car so I'm not looking for something flashy, but I would like something nice. I have thought of contacting some auto wreckers to see if that is a suitable avenue. I think though that I would just be replacing my scuffed Rims with slightly tarnished ones. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Being a gear head myself, I will give you one piece of advice....

Avoid the "Made in China" shit wheels out there. Serious junk. You can go on tirerack.com and they have all kinds of wheels and tirerack actually identifies the country of origin. Most are made in China. Absolute junk. Brittle, out of round, porous metal, improperly milled, impossible to balance, you name it.

You'd be far far better off to just buy OEM steel rims for the winter and buy some hubcaps from Canadian Tire or the like to dress them up. Unless you want to pay for Japanese / North American wheels, forget it.
