I took a trip to Cancun Mexico and wanted to share my experience to enlighten fellow terbites who may one day vacation there. It was not a stellar experience, after being to Canada and using terb as my guide in the past, I know my expectations are probably very high.
I just got back from Cancun, I wasn't smart enough to do any research and wished I had. I was not expecting to hobby, not even planning on going to a strip club, but the little guys on the street are persistent and I guess Im just a sucker by nature.
The women at the stripclub downtown (The One) were pretty attractive latinas. First they wanted 20 US$ at the door which I thought was high cause you wont pay that much to get in to the average SC in Chicago. I had one of my very persistent waiters get me some 20 peso bills so I could tip the dancers on stage as I like to do in the states, I like to see the performance. I realized I didnt need to do that b/c even though they had a nice center stage, it was almost never used. 50 bucks for 2 songs, I gave her 60 and she didnt have change. To buy her a drink and sit and chat was 35 US$, I declined. I tried to get a few private dances, 2 out of the 3 talked constantly about 100 bj 300 sex, I just wanted a dance, they couldnt comprehend that. My buddy gave 100 for a dance and bj, he said it was the toothiest bj he'd ever had, she needed 5 US$ extra for the condom. The 1 girl I had a dance with that didn't hussle me was just a natural beauty, dark hair, fair skin, from brazil so she said, but she also spoke almost zero english which is why I enjoyed her so much.
Another night my budy retired early and I got taken by a seemingly very helpful cabie to Plaza 21. I did freak out a bit when I realized he was taking me far from the hotels to the other side of the real cancun. Plaza 21 is a strip club mega plex that cabbies talk about and wranglers on the street try to sell. The claim is they have 6 strip clubs in one location, the truth is they probably only have two and the second one is to down sell you if you dont buy in the first one. 25 to get in, alot of locals as patrons, the girls were good looking, and surprising to me the boob jobs looked really well done.
I got seated by the stage, I thought I was gonna have a really good time, I was wrong. The first girl comes up to me, wanted to table dance for I dont know how much, I wanted something a little more private out of the way so we went to the semi enclosed area. She dances, looked great, I nibbled, she wanted 100 for bj 300 for sex, I said no I just wanted a few dances. Sit down, get a few beers for 5$, watch a few girls on stage, the same chick 'Jenny' (yes very authentic mexican name) keep soliciting me for sex and she would not take no for an answer. I saw a few white guys get taken up stairs, the locals didnt seem to get solicited. I said no no no, after a few more drinks and dances she comes back and lowers the price to $200 and I bite, she wore me down, sucker. I give her 2500 pesos expecting change, she had none. Go up to the room, guy hands her 1 condom, I start to get a bad feeling this is not a multiple happy ending session. Get undressed, I ask to turn the light on so I can see her. No that was not an option. BJ was covered but nice, I try to touch her, a little kiss, she wouldnt have it. She jumps on top but I swear she was using her hand. I end, she quickly realizes this, then informs me we take a nap now for the next 20 minutes. This is after 10 minutes of private time, its suppose to be an hour session. Be wary my friends, cancun is filled with conmen from the minute you get off the plane and strippers are just whores, not SPs, whores, you get nothing for the $. If they actually attempted to deliver on a service or a fantasy or quality sex it might be worth the inflated prices, but it is not. Ive had really great, fun, erotic, and passionate times in strip clubs and with Sps in the US and Canada and its been cheaper.

The scenery, the nature, the beaches, scuba, snorkeling, absolutely great.
The fact that everyone has their hands out for a tip, completely disgusting. The people on the street who try to wrangle you in to every bar, club, store, for a percentage or tip, really annoying.
All Inclusive is code for watered down drinks, mediocre food, 500$ US penalties for not returning beach towels or room safe keys, and having to come down in person by 10 AM to make a reservation at the hotel restaurant. God forbid you actually go out the night before and get tanked and call at noon for dinner reservations.
