cancellations
We are all aware that cancellations are a headache; however, there are ways to prevent them form frequently occurring. For example, I knew in the past that this individual was know for cancelling on well known established sps;however, I had only had 1 cancellation from this person so I continued to take matters into my own hands and disregard whatever info I heard about this person....everyone deserves a second chance right? I mean I am aware that cancellations do arise and important events do come up in people's everyday lives. The point is I now realize that I should not have arranged an appt with this person and cancelled on regulars if I had any hunch that he would cancel. The thing is that it is not fair to the sp if a client arranges a lengthy appt and then decides at the last minute not to show. I know it wasn't right for me to use names on this site even if they are aliases or whatever. I was annoyed because I returned his phone calls as well as him emails and I expect to be treated in the same way. It isn't very considerate for someone to arrange a lengthy appt and ......................................
then cancel exactly 5 mins prior to meeting. He once booked a 4 hour appt with a well known sp....she had his cell, location everything....and she was at a funeral prior to their appt...like me she believed that their appt was definite...she jumped on a plane...arrived in Ottawa....called his cell...she returns home...checks her computer ....he cancelled 5 mind before they were supposed to meet.
