Most of the Canadians agree with him...over 70%

Someone was so angered by the federal government's reported $10.5 million payout to Omar Khadr, that they took out a full page ad.
The ad in the Toronto Sun apologizes to the widow of the American soldier Khadr is accused of killing in Afganistan as well as a soldier who was injured.

It's said to be from, "an outraged Canadian"
An Angus Reid poll out Tuesday found 71 percent of Canadians think the payment is wrong.
Khadr has confessed, but recanted, that he threw a grenade that killed Sergeant Chris Speer and wounded Sergeant Layne Morris after a fierce battle in Afghanistan in July 2002.

Last Friday, the Canadian government apologized to Khadr as part of a settlement of his civil lawsuit for breaches of his rights during his imprisonment by the Americans in Guantanamo.

30% do not think that the other 70% are dumb. Your comments represent a much smaller number.

The original post was not offensive. Your post was offensive and you elicited the response you deserved. Like Khadr you started the fight, but now you try to make out as if you are the victim.

Victim, no idea where you get that from.

I think it is dumb to complaint about the Canadian Government following the rulings of the Supreme Court of Canada.

He (or she) represents true Canadian values. That is what people with human decency and compassion do.

Prime Minister Harper also reached out directly to the two victims.

After years of trashing on the Canadian system of government, of trashing on the U.S.A., Danmand now is trashing on 99 percent of the population.

Shit talking aside. Good for the guy who posted the add - I don't know why this is news. Our law does allow people to have opinions different from the government.
