If those were Chinese Americans lobbying on behalf of the CCP, or Russian Americans lobbying on behalf of the Kremlin, or Arab Americans lobbying on behalf of the House of Saud, I'd feel exactly the same way.
An American should work for America. Not Israel. Jewish Americans, are Americans. Not Israelis (unless they acquired citizenship - and even then they should work for America if they live and work in America). If their lobbying for Israel is okay, then why should we make a big deal of our Politicians working for China or India? Or any country for that matter? That way all our elected people can be bought and paid for by foreign state actors. We might as well pay tax to them!
Despite conspiratorial thinking, Americans who support Israel do so because they believe America benefits from the relationship.
And it's pretty convoluted that you support Canadian politicians working directly for Indian agents but object to Canadian citizens advocating for foreign policy.
