Can't believe there isn't a thread on this already.

Soon after they were elected, some Canadian members of Parliament began "wittingly assisting" foreign state actors, says a report released Monday -- including sending confidential information to Indian officials.
...
"We found foreign interference at every order of government, in every political party, in the public sector, the media, the NGO sector, the private sector," he said. "It's there, and it's not stopping."

This is something that all parties need to be held accountable for.

Can't believe you are posting an article about foreign interference in the internal democratic processes of a sovereign country.

So, this is, like, a bad thing, right? Just checking.
And can't believe that after all your whining about Jews controlling the world, you have no criticism with China and India buying our politicians.

I do. Expel any Canadian politician found to be compromised by a foreign government, and bar them from holding public office ever again.

This applies to any and all foreign governments. How's that? Care to make the same statement?
Of course that wasn't why you posted in this thread.

It's pretty messed up that you are more concerned about Jewish Americans lobbying their politicians is than foreign intelligence agents buying off politicians (and no comment of Qatari, Saudi, and UAE spending billions on lobbying efforts).

If they know for sure, the names must be released. Stinks of cover up.

LeBlanc says it would be 'irresponsible' to release names of MPs who aided foreign meddling

OTTAWA — Public Safety Minister Dominic LeBlanc is refusing to release the names of MPs believed to be aiding foreign powers, arguing to do so would be irresponsible.

LeBlanc testified Thursday morning before the House of Commons standing committee on public safety and national security. He said he has information on MPs who were identified as helping foreign powers in a report this week, but he said it is based on intelligence that might be unverified.

These names are contained in intelligence reports, in some cases it’s uncorroborated or unverified intelligence information,” he said. “The idea that there’s a perfect list of names that is entirely reliable that should be released to the public is simply irresponsible.”

The National Security Intelligence Committee of Parliamentarians (NSICOP) released a report on Monday identifying China and India as attempting to recruit MPs and, in some cases, they were successful. The report said that some MPs were passing confidential information to India and in another case a former MP had an ongoing relationship with a foreign intelligence official.

Conservative MP Frank Caputo said it was irresponsible of LeBlanc to allow this cloud to hang over all MPs.

“The NSICOP report that was recently released reveals that parliamentarians including members of our house in the House of Commons, knowingly and deliberately assisted a hostile foreign state to the detriment of the people of Canada,” he said. “This places a cloud of suspicion over every single member of the House elected members. Do you know the names of these people?”

Poilievre has the clearance, you dum dum

he just refused to take the briefing because they were told

that once they hear it, they can't talk about it because it's a secret

it was a trap

Even that headline shows you are an idiot if you think PeePee has clearance already.

Instead they can work to fix the problem without risking CSIS sources.
PeePee is just whining because his own issues with foreign supporters means he can't apply for security clearance.

Have you been getting your news from here?

Poilievre is demanding to expose the names of foreign supporters

but you say he is one on that list, so he basically is calling for his name to be exposed

and Trudeau is protecting him by not releasing his name?

is that your understanding of this situation? :ROFLMAO:

if it was Poilievre or any Conservative CBC would be having a special 24/7

but because it's Trudeau and the Liberals the media is in full cover up mode

Would you really back a guy who won't or can't pass security clearance as PM?
dude, how can you be so dishonest?

Poilievre could have gotten the clearance but he chose not too because it was a trap set up by Liberals

Jagmeet and May were briefed and now they have to be silent

the issue is that some members of Canadian Parliament willingly helped foreign governments to influence election results

there is a reason why Jagmeet and Trudeau are not revealing the names

whoever is on that list should resign and be charged
