Yeah, that really worked with the proposal for the soccer team being located in North York.

Putting it right smack dab in downtown Toronto is what people want. It's a central location with the highest concentration of people and transportation. As soon as you start moving out into the suburbs, you're losing access and the interest of people.

Our Olympic Stadium out in the East end of Montreal was supposed to revitalize that neighbourhood. It didn't happen, and currently the only major sporting events at the "Big Owe" are the Alouettes' final home game each year and the Als' home playoff game (assuming they finish 1st or 2nd in the conference). We'll have a Grey Cup here again in a couple of years.

While a large part of the problems relate to faulty architecture, engineering and construction, the location did not help.

i can't see toronto getting an NFL team anytime soon... at least not before Los Angeles does again, and they've been trying for how many years now??? L.A. is like one of the biggest markets in the continent and they are having lots of trouble getting one, so i can't see how toronto thinks they can - especially being in a different country.

just my opinion.

^^^^^^^^ I have no idea what this says because all I wanna fucking know is....

WHO IS THAT HONEY IN YOUR SIG LINE AND WHERE DO I STAND IN LINE TO KISS HER SWEET ASS???!!!!!

It will NEVER happen...

Some things are not gonna be changed in Canada - the politically correct people will make sure that we maintain those things that are uniquely "Canadian" or rather "Non-american". Where else do you find rewards for failure (i.e. getting a point when you missed a field goal in the CFL!)

If CFL were to come down to 3 teams, the Canadian NDP'ers and Liberals will continue to pump money into it to retain the "3-down" Canadian identity.

We have been getting rejected players from the NFL to a point where most CFL teams can be beaten by any Ivy-league College teams any given day (IMHO).

So, TO folks, dream on....

A dream never died but the dreamer.....

You'd need to add 4 teams, not 2, to make it even. Adding a team to each conference still results in an odd number of teams in that conference.

A plan was to bring back L.A. and Toronto to make the teams even
Yes the owners would just love to split the same revenues 34 ways rather then 32 ways.
