A real taste of competition?
You discredit these guys beacuse they are not in the NHL.Most of them won gold as part of the Under 18 national team.That's a world class tourney that real hockey fans know is very high level competion. They also have played in the under 17 world hockey challenge,Canada games,Memorial Cups,etc.

I know you're a NHL/Leafs fan,as opposed to a real hockey fan, but to call representing Canada at the WJC not important is just idiotic on your part. It doesn't get any better/more important than playing for your country at a high level tournament such as the WJC, Canada Cup or Olympics (mens).
It's fine that you're just an NHL/Leafs fans and dont have any real knowledge of anything hockey outside of the Leafs, but it's wrong when you treat this tournament and the players in it as if this isn't important just because it doesn't interest you.
